This thread has been quite interesting to follow. Your facts are interesting TomAiello but a little short of the full truth either. I am getting ready to start chiropractic school and in many states a bachelors degree is required to begin and most chiropractic programs are 4 years in length just like all MD programs. There are a few 3 year accelerated options. If you want to start short siding facts, there are many MD programs that are 6 years out of high school to become a doctor so please include all the facts of the minimums and maximum requirements for board certifications of both professions if your trying to prove creditably to one and discredit chiropractic medicine. What I am really interested in on this thread, is which of you were doctors of anything again to be making these recommendations, assumptions, and accusations? I hope that your daughter finds some healing that is appropriate for her by whatever means that is.
  2. And you're really one to talk... I love my husband!
  3. Sarah I'm sorry you haven't got your dog housebroke yet. I'm guessing you didn't use the kennel method and taking him out regularly for the first few months to teach him where he is supposed to be doing his business. It's not too late to start showing him where is appropriate. Our newest one (of 2.5 months now. year old lab mix) came to us without being housebroke and after a few accidents in the house...on the bed...and taking her out regularly until she did her business instead of letting her have free roam of the house by using a kennel, she is housebroke in an amazingly short period of time. By kicking and punishing the dog, they will just learn to go hide to poop in the house and then you can play a game of seek out the poop. Enroll in a beginner obedience class, the instructor will help work through some of your problems with you dog and you will have a well adjusted dog by the time your baby arrives. 4. So will this "zoning impasse" be resolved for next weekends jumping in Harrisonville or is this a long term thing? I love my husband!
  5. btw... thank you Bryan and Lyn for a wonderful Boogie! Looked like the weather was going to suck but turned out to be a great weekend! The food and company was all great and I'm glad I didn't miss it! I love my husband!
  6. Jimmy Coiner is going to be there! I've had the opportunity to jump with THE legend and I can't miss the chance to do so again. Need to check the calander but getting to see countless ballet swoops, women who can't resist the legend, and getting to be on the same load as J. Coiner Midwest Freefly Legend... I need to clear the calander! I love my husband!
  7. Who is this midwest legend? I need to go meet him. Seems like he is getting all the action from the ladies. I was even at Hillbilly Boogie...where was he? Was he the one in red doing the ballet swoops all weekend? I love my husband!
  8. I LOVE my Safre2. It is a great second canopy and I expect to have it for many many hundreds of jumps. Not giving advice because I am in no position to do so but just saying it has been the perfect match for me and I did a lot of research talking with people who know my abilities before making this decision. I know pleanty of guys with thousands jumping them and are perfectly happy because they will do everything they want without dealing with the spin ups/etc. of true ellipticals. Icarus and PD both have demo programs to try them out without buying. I love my husband!
  9. That is too cute! I would be the exact same way in thinking someone was there to get me! Joe and I got our puppy for company when he works 24h shifts at the hospital and occassionally she will be off in the other end of the house and scare the crap out of me! Pets are a wonderful addition in life. We are starting to collect a herd though with 2 dogs and 4 horses but I love them all... I'm just glad I'm going in the animal field for my career. (Dog obedience trainer and starting Vet Technician program in August). I love my husband!
  10. I jump with an experienced freeflier on all my jumps but what has helped me learn the feel the most was when I got a sitsuit. I learned really quick stability and how to not slide around the sky like a lot of "experienced' idiots I've jumped with. I'm transitioning out of it now after only a dozen or so jumps in it so it doesn't take long to get the feel of it. Best thing I did for myself + video does help to see what you are doing wrong. Just something that helped me out. Good luck! Christina I love my husband!
  11. LOL, I bet you might change your mind one of these days!!! I love packing and I am working on my riggers ticket under the supervision of a rigger. I feel more comfort in knowing my reserve and main are right because I did them than trusting someone else doing it without me there. I've found the uglier pack jobs tend to open better but I don't make a point to make it ugly! Just my two cents which I'm sure someone will complain about. I love my husband!
  12. OK thank you, that makes sense to me. Christina I love my husband!
  13. I know I am. Unfortuantely it doesn't matter what you say, truth or "half-truths" people who are against seeing this dzo suceed will believe the bs they want to hear about him and the activities about. I hope Paul and Jo make it. I have got to know them a little bit this past month and I think they are wonderful people who are working very hard against an uphill battle of people who won't shut up and let them give it a try. They are marketing to a fun jumper community. Fun jumpers don't jump in masses at the other dz's anyway, they drive hours to avoid all this shit and I understand so very well now why. It is fun to jump at KCSC. It is a wonderful atmosphere and a great place to jump with people of all skill levels. It is a learning environment and like many dz's in this country... amenities are in the works. I too hope to see all the surrounding dz employees who are so outspoken let things be as you have all made your points and we have all made our judgements. I do have a valid question as a young skydiver. Why does Paul "need" to have more ratings. So what if he has an AFF, what is is going to do with it? Employ himself to make an instructional jump. Being a DZO is a businessman from my understanding. You hire a manifest, you hire employees to teach your students, etc... Why is it so imparative to have experience instructing? Honestly, Paul has more jump numbers than most of the people in this area and I'd rather learn from his experiences in that sense than a 100 jump wonder coach. Please I would like to hear an answer to this because it has baffled me from the first day I heard this statement. I love my husband!
  14. Go for a consult and your doctor will give you his/her recommendations. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup for a couple months because of the risk of infection and loosing your vision. Not a risk I was willing to take to look good for a few months. I prize my vision too much. I had mine done in 02 had to have touch up done one time to get from 20/25 to my current 20/10. It was well worth every inconvience to not have to wear contacts anymore. Christina I love my husband!
  15. Why? Shouldn't we analyze all the local dz's "promises." I still haven't seen the answer to what Butler's defination of "serious" is as JavaJunkie asked earlier. I love my husband!
