  2. haha....arn't skydiving dreams awesome.....they can scare the sh*t outta u, but in a way, it kinda helps out so that ur more mentally alert when you jump bout wat crazy sh*t can happen...... ......iv had a dream or 2 where i was in a cartoon like setting & i jumped & it was like i forgot to pull, so when i realized i hadn't, i reached back, but it was too late........hahahaha....i squinted my eyes & reached w/ my foot towards the ground & landed ever so gracefully like a ballerina....my chute just slowly rested on me & i didn't run it out at all, it was like stepping down from a ladder.....i was so stoked i didn't have to pull & was bragging to everyone...HAHAHAHA........

    head down Q

anyone have any tips for head down? perhaps, the easiest way to get into it, out of it, to go faster, leg & arm configuration.......ya know i'm beginning to do this & will jump w/ others who know how, but in the meantime, i'd like any advice i can get. p.s. i wanna be able to go SUPER fast (correctly, that is) thanks
  8. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY! here's my beautiful new infinity...............can't wait to take it for a ride..
  9. The OP is a low-time jumper who has made 5 posts to DZ.com and is asking legitimate questions about the WFFC. The first reply she gets berates her for not spelling Illinois correctly and provides no useful information. Was that really necessary? Ditto Doug, The wffc is a wild and crazy place with numerous canopies in the sky at any given time, and it's an expense. 2005 ran me about $1000.00. I think that packing Cathy might be the one to talk to about rental rigs. As far as spelling Illenoys wrong, get over it ppl. Do a search and see how many spell "licence" wrong. oops I got them both wrong hahaha.....so $1,000ish eh?? that's good to know. i've heard from my first tandem instructor that the air is totally busy and people like to come in from no where or make sharp turns from no where....i can only imagine. but i'm sure all the aircrafts are just amazing.....
  10. oh........i totally think it'd b worth spending the $
  11. I've heard my international friends criticize Americans for being arrogant know-it-alls, but not for our spelling ability. Wow I didnt realize that correcting the spelling of the state at which I came from made me a know-it-all. Cool...good to know. Before this gets broke of into speakers corner as a discussion on how americans lack in the arena of education im done, and a PM was sent. deer goodnis......i wint bak and chainged itt sow evryone kan fal assleep 2niht
  12. ya..the whole gear thing just sucks for me. the WFFC sounds soooooooooooooooo fun
  13. thanks for the reply....good things to consider
  14. thanks....i looked on there already and i didn't get as much info as i wanted....so i was hoping someone whose done it could help out. maybe i missed reading something, but i still don't know if they will rent gear or what.....sucks when you don't have your own rig. but thanks for the help.
  15. I'm trying to get prices for the 2006 World Free Fall Convention but i'm having trouble doing so. i was wondering if any of you who have gone to this know aprox. prices.....i don't have my own gear yet & i don't know if they'll even rent gear out...? any idea on cheapest way to travel from CA to Illinois? & food costs daily? or how long to stay? i need help. thanks.
