  1. I agree ... I did the same as your teammate. Downsized from st107 to a KA 89. 'saddle input' is a lot more sensitive. My openings have been soft, and generally, on heading. I love the performance ! I have had a few openings where coaxing the slider down the last little bit is needed. I am at 1.85. My dog has almos quit trying to chase me under canopy. Now he just meets me at the bowl. PD did just fine. As usual. TB
  2. Hehe, okay now I have figured it all out..Stop the clock ! Hehe...okay can I go back to sleep now??
  3. Hi there, I was an instructor at the aforementioned Parachute School of Toronto. Let me first say, I have been an instructor for 2 years. I have 1000 jmps. The airport the school was on (as we got ousted by new airport owners) had operated 3 different schools over a period of years. There were 3 fatalities in the time (6-7yrs ?) The previous ones were experienced jumpers. The last one was a double mal. Main snivelled, student (5 jumps) cutaway, (RSL -yes) reserve baglock. No cause for the reserve mal was found by the inquest. This occured when I had 35 jumps. I can't describe the feeling of being around for that. The Airport now has new owners and they really like Ultralights..and don't like skydivers....so we're out. Parachute School of Toronto hasn't given up the fight yet though.....operatives are out searching for oppurtune places with which to start a dropzone. Our 206 with no door is just aching to fly again. As for where to jump, I jump at Burnaby usually, when I have a free weekend to jump for myself ..instead of Tandem video and coach jumps not to mention dropping toads S/L. Have a good one, Bill C-3085 Instructor A/Coach 2
