  1. I've lost 16 lbs in 4 weeks so far. I need to lose another 20. Yes and it's specifically for wingsuiting.
  2. I was the "student" on both the jumps completing my training with Steve when it happened. After the 2nd chop I said to Steve : Who's the student and who's the instructor ? Seriously IMO jumping a pintail with a wingsuit you need big balls. A special thanks to Steve for taking the time out to complete my training so I can be a solo birdie now. Oh, I used my new FIREBIRD and hell it's a awesome suit.

    WINGS

I'm interested in buying a Wings container however it doesn't come with "spacer foam" like the Vortex II I have. Can anyone tell me what sort of padding the Wings has in term of comfort. Thanks !
  4. Could the main packing tray be made smaller without having to take the whole thing apart ?
  5. The container I own (Vortex II) was orginally designed for a 170 main however I've sinced downsized to a 150. Even with the closure loop shortned the flaps seems to be loose and looks very untidy. The freefly pud also doen't tuck nicely under the flap once it's closed and the whole think looks out of sorts. Is it possible to fix this problem without having to buy another rig ?
  6. Excuse me for being naive but is there a big difference in performance between the Firebird and the Firebird R ? Is it worth spending the extra $$
  7. Is there any difference between the Stealth and Smart reserve ?
  8. IAN, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN.CLOSING THE CONTAINER IS LIKE A GYM WORKOUT HOWEVER .. PARACHUTESYSTEMS HAVE RECENTLY CHANGED THE SIZING OF THE VORTEX 2. THE "NEW" 120 SIZE IS ACTUALLY THE OLD 135. SO THEY HAVE GONE UP ONE SIZE BIGGER.
  9. MIKE I JUMP A VORTEX 2 AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH IT. THE RIG IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND IT'S FREEFLY FRIENDLY. IT'S ALSO RELATIVELY CHEAP ABOUT 1200 USD BUYS YOU A FULLY LOADED RIG.

    Factory Diver

I've had my Factory Diver for 5 months now and have noticed that the visor started cracking.I'm also not convinced that the velcro fastening system is he way to go.The velcro wears out very quickly and doesn't really secure the helmet whilst in freefall.(Almost lost it last week). Yes the Factory Diver is relatively cheap however I would recommend spending a bit more and getting real quality like a Havok.
  11. Is there a problem with their website ?
  12. What makes PD reserves better than the rest ?People can't stop talking about them, even here in South Africa. Are they made from different fabric ?Are they even more reinforced than the smart ?***
  13. Would there be a huge difference in airspeed when landing between a elliptical and a semi elliptical 9 cell canopy when equally loaded?(straight in approach)
