  1. You can say Van Helsing is an aweful movie, that's fine. I haven't seen it, it looks bad, it probably is. But it cannot be the "worst movie ever", not a chance. That title is forever reserved for Ringmaster, the Jerry Springer film, that was truly the most ridiculously bad movie- OF ALL TIME. There is no debate, there can't be, it sucked so hard that everything became nothing, and life was empty. Shame on you Springer for infecting a piece of my memory that could have gone to remembering something less painful. That is all!
  2. Wow! It sounds like you've been preparing to say that for a while! Very well worded my good man, very well! Although, I imagine your definition can still draw some confusion. Maybe it would be simpler to just say that Libertarians (generally) desire, at this time, a lessening of control by the hands of Federal and State gov't. Suffice?? No???
  3. Since this is your 100th, the attention is going to be all on you, so you REALLY just don't want to embarrass yourself. Most help I can give you is: whatever you do- DON'T FALL OUT OF THE PLANE!! That would be horrifically embarrassing!! Have fun.
  4. I just got back to this, and the comments in response were a little stirred (especially this one), Man- let's not be so pessimistic about the possibilities. Remember: the goal is to have fun and NOT get hurt. I think it's horrible to think the worst of hypothetical situations in skydiving, we should anticipate them, but never expect them. GEEEZ!
  5. First off, I am one of those jumpers that finds the most excitement in landing. I love freeflying, but I enjoy the last 1000 ft the most. This being said, I do not enjoy when many others "mix it up" constantly in landing patterns for their own enjoyment. Landing downwind, crossing paths, turning super low, etc. These can be dangerous more than anything else, especially when not everyone is adequately experienced. I like employing different methods of landing, but only when I'm away from others and in the appropriate conditions, or I have notified others of my intentions. I know it sounds tedious and un-enthusiastic, but it's safe. I'm just curious to know if there are 10 (only 10) people that would disagree with me, because it almost always seems that there are a few that don't conform to this when I'M landing!! Let me know.
  6. nael, you should never NOT expect to pass a level, that's the wrong mindset. If you don't pass, then you don't; but you should always hope and expect to, even though it usually doesn't turn out so easy. Michael
  7. If you're only 14 right now, you really don't NEED to worry about this yet. In a few years your mind will most likely change, and you can see how you feel then. If you still feel like it's not worth the risk, then don't do it. Just see how you feel when you're 18, not 14. Michael
