  2. Flyangel2: not trying to say that you suck as a skydiver. I can turn with the 8 way and not float or sink easily. Got some video for proof
  3. I just read the "flying with weights" on the home page of dropzone.com. I, myself, think that weights are a bad idea. I weight about 135 lbs. with gear on, and i dont wear weights. I have never had any problem gettin down to anything, if anything it was going a little low. I think its mainly in peoples head. The best advice that i ever took from someone was from Bob Hallett (DZO of DeLand). He told me not to wear weights, and it has made me a much better skydiver today. So, how do you guys feel about weights? --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  4. Yeah, i guess my main interest is starting to go faster. I know i want to swoop, but i just want to take my time at it and not kill myself. With my gear on i weigh about 135. So your sayin that i might try goin to a stiletto 150? --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  5. Me and a friend from our DZ tried a mr. bill out of a cesna 182 and i held onto the binding between his leg strap and the container, but as we let go it pulled the harness down and he had to search for the pilot chute so we built up some speed and i couldnt hang on. Is there another way of launching a mr. bill where i could easily hang on? --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  6. Hey, i can totaly understand as im 16. When i was 12 i couldnt wait to jump!! But, i just went to the DZ where both my parents jumped, and started packing, and editing the tandem videos. You can make awesome money when you arent jumping. So, i would just go hang out and learn how to pack and watch some videos and get to know the people there! Once i turned 16 i started jumping, and already knew how to pack, so that took care of 1 part of the A License --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  7. Right now i jump a spectre 150...im thinkin about finding something a little more eliptical. I have probably 100 jumps on this canopy, i have about 120 jumps total. So....should i wait and put a few more jumps on it, or would i be safe to downsize? I feel comfortable on it enough that i feel safe to find something else. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
