  1. just havin fun --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  2. No i never gave him my address...i figured out what was going on when he said he would have one of his U.S. "clients" send me a check for $3100. I just sent him back an email asking him if he knew what Karma was, and if not, to look it up. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  3. He also asked for the canopy I'm selling. Heres the email I got from him. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  4. Haha, I don't have any problems landing my XF2 on rear risers. I've done it plenty times before. But...I do like using my toggles from time to time...lol --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  5. Something that crossed my mind once while checking my altitude after a high hop-n-pop was how secure my toggle hold is. I use all my fingers to hold the toggles (I strongly recommend that you never use the 2 or 3 finger method) But, even with all 5 fingers holding the toggle, there is still a huge empty space in there. My question is; is there any way to hold the toggle to where it is secure all the time? Does anyone know of any toggle modifications that a manufacturer has done with canopy swooping in mind? The only thing I could think of (now bear with me and use your imagination) is to run your hands from the outside of each riser through the toggles, then roate each hand about 90 degrese back to the outside, then unstow your toggles. Im not sure if this would just put a twist in the toggle, or actually secure it a little more. Any thoughts? --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  6. Good points. If you have a Neptune, you can watch the descent rate in feet per second I believe. As far as I know, it doesn't record anything, but you can make mental note. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  7. I think a big mistake that I hear most people make is leaving the brakes stowed until 500' or so. First off, like mentioned just a little bit before me, this could become a problem if u go to unstow them then have a problem. But also, probably on almost every canopy, this will kill your glide. If you have your brakes stowed, you have your canopy is in pretty slow flight. Think about what will allow the canopy to get in a good glide. I would say (depending on the canopy), either 1/4 brakes or rear risers will work the best. To find out which works best on your canopy, simply do some tests. Fly in brakes for awhile and get a feel of how fast the canopy is going, then go to your rears and see if it feels like you start going faster or slower. As stated before, this is all going to depend on your canopy. For me on my crossfire2, I feel like rear risers works best though. Hope this helps! --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  8. If anyone was going to rear float, they would have to keep their head down! That back prop does come a little far down for anyone to be standing up back there. lol But it looks like it would be fun! --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

  11. Here is one of oli on his new crossfire2 109 and Dave on his safire2 also from this past weekend. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

  13. Could be by a lot of practice, but it could also be by him just knowing the land marks around the DZ and by looking at them on his side and between his feet, maybe he just knows where the DZ is. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  14. My guess is that your going to get some bad. My experience with them is good though. I would say buy from them...I did and I love my suit! Its solid, nice material, and comfortable. They make an awesome suit for an awesome price in my opinion. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  15. Nice colors! Blue and black rocks! --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  16. We did a couple jumps at sunset today. One was a tracking dive with about 30 minutes sun left, and the last one was a 6,000' load with a beautiful horizon. Stuff like that makes you realize what an awesome sport we participate in and how lucky we are.
  17. Ok, well im not gonna tell you you could have landed it or anything as said before. But, this makes me curious because I know several people who have landed a step through and made it sound like no big deal. The risers should just be twisted shouldn't they? Was it flying ok? Just wondering... Thanks! --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  18. I've noticed that a lot of times when i do a 180, instead of just working with one riser, I have both my hands in my dive loops. A lot of times when I start rotating, I start it higher and have both risers slightly pulled down and then I just pull one down farther than the other to rotate it. I started off just using double fronts, then 90 deg., and now im on 180's. Is this a bad habbit? Should I quit doing this and just use one riser to rotate it either left or right? --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  19. Pretty sure he wasnt serious and it was pretty irrelevant to this thread...but I have probably 250 of my 330 skydives out of a 182, and ive been doing a pretty cool exit. It might take some practice but ive been going out on the step, facing forward, keep your right hand tucked in and when you leave roll onto your back, leave both arms straight and kind of out to your side and stop there and just watch the plane get smaller. Pretty cool to do, Ive got some good video of those exits. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  20. Ive seen this done before. I always try to give a nice wave off before i start breaking off. I think the method that u listed is a pretty cool way to do it, but I guess I could see where it would be bad if someone was right behind you and you backed into them, But it gives you a better chance to see other people as you back out. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  21. Ok guys im just going to bring this thread back up just to clear some things up. It is totally possible that 1335smaj got the story a little messed up because he didn't hear it all, it happens guys. No hard feelings
  22. You got your opinions, I got mine Kurupee is good for the people who don't want to spend a lot of money on a jumpsuit. As much as I change jumpsuits, I cant afford to go out and spend a bunch on one. But, the suit I have right now from Kurupee is great! --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  23. Ok so I'm a little late, but i'll be seeing you guys there tomorrow --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  24. I disagree, I've gotten some quality stuff from them. Besides, its just swoop pants, I think they can manage that. I thought about buying a pair myself. Glad you made this thread. So...anyone out there have a pair of swoop pants by Kurupee? --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
  25. Why is it important to be able to do a half loop onto your back? If a videographer doesn't want to video on their back that doesnt make them a bad flyer. Some camera flyers do awesome tandem videos that I know that don't go on there back. So how does it make them not qualified to be in the air with a tandem??? I prefer to go on my bad when im filming any kind of deployments but thats just me. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
