So this summer I plan on getting my A. Next summer however I plan on riding my bicycle from the east coast to the west coast. I had this crazy Idea of visting as many dropzones as I possibly could along the way. So now that I'm actually starting to plan this adventure of mine I wa wondering if anyone else would be interested? Maybe make some sort of party of it. Imagine if you will a large, uncontrollable group of skydivers riding bicycles from one edge of the country to the other, stopping at as many dropzones as possible along the way? So tell me, what do you think? Happy Trails

I have 1300 which at Skydive New England is enough for a college student to do AFF with two extra jumps, so I can repeat two levels and still be cool. After that I'm screwed :) Ray Happy Trails

I go to USM (University of Southern Maine) the majority of the school goes home one the weekends (most people don't have class on friday). Its a big commuter school in that way, I'm from New Jersey so going home isn't an option. Other than the frats, no one has any sort of parties or gatherings so to speak, so everyone goes. So the friends I do have around here convince me to go every couple weeks. Lookin forward to spring Ray Happy Trails

It would probably only take a hour or less by car, but since I don't have one I'm going to be riding a bike :) Dosn't bother me none though, I love riding. I'm giving 3 1/2 hours as a reasonalbe estimate since I like to stop along the way and take back roads. Personally that is the beauty of riding a bike vs. a car, you actually get to experience the land your riding through. Just my 2 cents. Ray Happy Trails

Glad I'm not the only one. I'll be at the DZ this spring. Soon as it is warm enough to ride my bike there and camp out. No other form of transportation

Just got back from a frat party. Can't f*&ck*n stand them! Just wondering what other people thought. Personally can't waite till the DZ opens round here and I can ride my bike the 3.5 hours just to camp there for the weekend so I don't have to put up with this shit. It seems that everyone just drinks so they can enjoy themselves, instead of just enjoying themselves for the pure satisfaction of being alive. Don't get me wrong, drinking is fun (BEER) but if you have to do it to have fun then I say your in a sorry state of affairs. Ray. Happy Trails

I'm at USM in Maine. I Don't know about your caffateria but at ours if you go 5 min before they close, there so busy putting everything away that no one is there to swipe your meal plan card. You can only get the cold stuff they leave out, (ceral, fruit, bread etc...) but hey its enough to live of and its free. Another way to eat for free is lookout for things that go on in student centers. At my school they have this thing called hungry tuesday where a diffrent club will hold a presentation every tuesday at the same time. You got to listen to them speak but usaully free pizza or sandwhiches. This way you can save even more! My meal plan comes from Finacial aid, so I don't have to pay out of my pocket.....Yet Ray Happy Trails

That is what I am screamin. I'm just wondering how easy it would be to start teachin outside the state in which I got my teachers degree? About pay, OldNewbie, what do teachers get these days (approximate). How well does it do you to get higher degrees such as masters or higher? Thanks Happy Trails
