  2. Brings new meaning to the phrase "anal retentive" He who laughs last, didn't get the joke
  3. I don't often post but this must rank as one of the more stupid ideas I have read about. The story does not do it justice http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wear/6132140.stm (Don't know how to make clicky)
  4. I have ploughed through this post and have at last read a reply that cuts to the chaste, PUNISHMENT, stuff the self reflection, and all the other physiological BS and get it into your heads that this is a PUNISHMENT. I am sick and tired of society condemning punishment; it is a penalty for breaking the rules, end of discussion. Live with it, if after the 30 days people want to go off and do the same thing, increase the punishment. If my kid steps out of line he gets punished, it is his choice if he sulks and refuses to learn, but there is no discussion about the punishment being fair. My house, my rules. My hat is off to Perris. He who laughs last, didn't get the joke

  6. ***In professional sports I imagine it's done all the time ------------------------------------------------------- I doubt that is done in extreme pro sports like F1, NASCAR, drag racing, where the individual life is on the line. I suppose rythmic gymnastics may have a place for it, There is no place for it in our sport. period _________________________________ He who laughs last, didn't get the joke
  7. Robert, I couldn't say it better. Pressure, both increased and decreased is a big influence on medication. All the crap about "it doesn't really affect me" is bull###. Try taking reaction tests after taking the meds, (I have) I will guarantee that you have slowed down, no matter what you think. So stop thinking you are immune to side effects, and stop jumping, driving and operating machinery while on them. I’ll bet all the folks who say “I can handled them” would not be too happy if the pilot of the load was taking meds but says "Don't worry I can handle them" ! ___________________________________________ He who laughs last, didn't get the joke
  8. I would hope, but not assume, that people do not jump after taking meds. This falls into the same category as alcohol. I would be totally pissed if I knew someone had been on medication while jumping. It should be grounds for banishment. --------------------------------------------------------- He who laughs last, didn't get the joke
  9. the name rings a bell, he had a workshop around elisinore, he made one for me but modified for more fwd speed, interesting concept, had many an adventure on it, made it for me in 79 i think, put it in a Shadow rig He who laughs last, didn't get the joke
  10. 28 double L in '73, went to elsinore and bought a modified dactyl, commonly called double death off the guy who made them, forgot his name but he was big into hang gliding (help with his name would be appreciated) that was an interesting canopy, didn't like opening very much He who laughs last, didn't get the joke
