  1. i can relate to this.... i started my training on static line progression and my malfunction drills were this... Feel (both hands on pad) Peel Pull!! Feel Punch (both hands on Silver) Arch Pray Then i converted to Aff after a few months of practising this emergency drill. my AFF instructer suggested trying the one hand per handle method while in the hanging harness. as soon as he shouted MALFUNCTION both hands went for the cutaway kinda Subconsiously I said sorry and tried agian MALFUNCTion and AGAIN both my hands went to cutaway!! He obviouslly told me to stick with this method as it is a built in reaction!!! BS
  2. if you saw the paint job on this baby you would understand why im in no rush to get another helmet!!!!!! Thankyou Art In Motion however you are!!!!!!!
  3. I heard that with factory divers-etc. with visors that dont flip up, when jumping in the cold there is a risk of the condensation from your breathe freezing on the inside, practically blinding you unless you take the helmet off?? is someone pulling my plonker? and if not has anyone expierienced this?
  4. ((i jump a factory diver (full face) but without the visor, )) without the visor, and wearing goggles, my factory diver doesnt fit on my head...... its a tight fit any way, just wondering if you do anything different?
  5. there is a line running inside the bride, one end connected to the top of the canopy, and the other attached to the top of the pilot chute (where the handle is) now this is where you need a graphic demonstration so bear with me. the moments after the canopy has left the d bag,the pilot chute is still catching loads of air it pulls the bag, bridle etc AWAY from the top of the canopy, and also as the top of the pilot chute is attached by the kill line to the top of the canopy and not the d bag, the effect is the top of the pilot chute is pulled towards the canopy thus collapsing it (in reality the centre line/kill line never moves, its the bridle and pilotchute moving AROUND it. So it cannont collapse until the canopy is out the bag. i have just read the above and probably doesnt make any sense, its very hard to explain, ask someone at the DZ to show you in detail how it works. (iwas also puzzled to how it worked before someoune showed me) Bye bye
