  1. Hey all I'm alive and well on Keesler AFB. My house and everything in it except the cat is completely destroyed. Don't worry I'm alright and the base is taking care of my housing and food needs. I don't have any real need for gas as I nolonger have a vehicle. I'm so glad I checked the forums I've been very worried about my friends here on the coast. Please tell tim that I'm not interested in buying that rig he was is selling... its covered in mud and sopping wet. :) Jeff Jeff Phillips

    Sticky?

Can we make this thread sticky until at least the 22nd? I mean if the thread regarding tent fees at Rantoul is sticky surely this can qualify? Jeff Jeff Phillips
  3. Here is another contact for you guys to write and call. The District 1 supervisor Manly Barton is the person who appointed the airport authority (AA) personnel that is giving Mike the hard time. While the AA is autonomous after they are appointed, if he hired them he can fire them if they act inappropriately. Here is a complete link to Mr Barton's official Bio http://www.co.jackson.ms.us/BOS/BOSCBoard1.html but his mailing address is: PO Box 998 Pascagoula, MS 39568 Email: [email protected] Phone: 228-769-3403 877-542-0976 Fax: 228-769-3475 Lets hold this guy accountable for the people he chooses to appoint and his dismissive attitude towards their post-appointment actions! Wite on! Jeff Jeff Phillips
  4. I assume you meant 20-30 loads a weekend which is close to the truth. 11 loads a day is pretty normal and with all of the good weekends its close to 550 loads a year. If we count each parachute as a landing op and figure 11 on a load and 52 weekends a year we account for nearly 13000 loads a year. I don;t think that they are counting our numbers like that but its the only way that they can come close to the 30k ops a year they claim. And they want to kick us out of there? Please! Jeff Phillips
  5. Donate to the Gold Coast Skydivers' Legal Fund by following this link http://jeffphillips.com ******** I got on here to see if anyone had started a common fund for Gold Coast. Glad to see that we've already started to think about how we can help Mike Igo and our DZ out. If you'd like to help out please visit http://jeffphillips.com to donate via paypal. All monies (100%) donated will be given to the dropzone to help out with legal costs. Lets all do the most we can to save our dropone! Jeff Phillips
  6. Ok Laurel now it makes sense, I'm outta town for a few days and I'm swamped with clicks from HotorNot in my inbox. For all those that are looking for my vote link here it is, although I don't know if its going to work since guys voting closes after a few hundred votes and mine ended a year ago, which incidentally is the last time I looked at this awesome site. http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=B8HUEQ&key=DXW As for the rest of you something is wrong or there are some mrean people in skydiving becasue Laurel's score has gone down to 8.6! Shes a hottie! Shame on all of you! Laurel we can change our pics which resets our scores and then see how the voting goes! And for the ladies, I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home and yada yada yada... Blue Skies! Jeff Phillips
