1. Don't know about skydivers but this has to be the youngest Tandem I've seen. http://www.uaqaeroclub.com/hh_files/a/a4.jpg
2. Please open your eyes and think about things...don't just take the word of anyone when it comes to your life. I knew nothing about jumping before I started, I knew no one in the sport to ask what was right and what was wrong. I had to trust my instructors teaching, I did search for a dropzone with a good reputation though, from then on I had to place you trust in what people tell me. So about this Lego ADD, how does it work? sounds intersting a cheap.
3. I bought a Vigil, so I guess that can be one confirm sale! I also know of several other people at my club who have bought them. Surely compitition in a market can only make the product better and cheaper for the consumer. I saw a presentation on the Vigil a while back and have to say it looked very impressive. I looked at all the numbers and figures and was more than happy to buy one. When I started skydiving it was taking a leap into the unknown, I trusted all the information I was told by instructors as I knew know better. I see buying a Vigil the same way. What happened when the Cypres was first introduced, were these same questions and statement rasied then aswell. Who was the first person to jump with one?? If anyone knows what was the general opinon then. If it wasn't safe surely the FAA and CAA would not allow them to be jumped in the first place.

Line colours

Whilst pro-packing my canopy the other day an idea came to me which has prob been discussed before but was wondering if anyone could offer any good reason why this is not possible. In order to make it quicker and easier to seperate the lines and chopping the canopy, could it be possible to colour the connectors that connect the canopy to the lines different colours for A,B,C and D lines. I know it'll make very little difference but there are the occasional times I wonder if I didn't grap the wrong line. Plus easier to pick the lines out. Can anyone think of a reason why I couldn't do this to my canopy using a fabric pen??
5. Do question marks make a question? Quote : The Dropzone Gear and Rigging forum is where you can discuss any gear related questions and issues. Ask about gear before you buy it and find out what others are using and how
6. I would like to point out that I do not drink through choice. My liver has been very bad and must be punished, it's the only way it'll learn I'm not drunk I love you all, Your my my best friend!!
7. Here's mine. I make apologies for the carpet, it was taken in a hotel honest! Jumped for the first time on Jan 1st, I love it. It's not just the rig, its the customer service that comes with it, FANTASTIC. I was once told that packing a new canopy was really hard, I find packing mine into the wings really easy. I have a 150 sabre2 and yet the container is smaller than friends 135 and 120 javelins. Wierd, any idea why??????
8. I'm officailly holding my head in shame, I've seen two lots of photos both have me and a few others (remain names less!!) dancing on the tables. The 5 broken tables were nothing to do with me honest. Great meeting you guys, even if I can't remember all your names. I couldn't even remember my own in the morning. I know I was talking to you at some point Vicki but not sure what we were chatting about. Mini boogie, count me in. Gonna have to travel the UK this year catch up with you all.
9. Just got mine this week, Sabre 2 150 loaded @1.29 - 1 PD reserve 143 Wings container Can't wait to jump it!Quote
10. Don't make me come down there tilly bird! At least headcorn will have a few more creepers without me around. Have to catch me first to kidnap me Proberbally safer than a certain video of a recent three way !!! you know what I mean

13. Having just bought my first new gear, I was wondering if anyone knew of any insurance companies in the UK who insure kit for loss or damage?
14. 18 months ago, I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from Drinking Mates 4.2,which I had used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off. To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as LadsNightOut 3.1, Football 4.5, and Playboy 6.9. Successive versions of Girlfriend proved no better. A shareware program, Party Girl 2.1, which I tried, had many bugs and left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut down completely for several weeks. Eventually,I tried to run Girlfriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the same time, only to discover that when these two systems detected each other, they caused severe damage to my hardware. I then upgraded to Fiancee 1.0, only to discover that this product soon had to be upgraded further to Wife 1.0. While Wife 1.0 tends to use up all my available resources, it does come bundled with FreeSexPlus and Cleanhouse2002. Shortly after this upgrade, however, I found that Wife 1.0 could be very unstable and costly to run. Any mistakes I made were automatically stored in Wife 1.0's memory and could not be deleted. They then resurfaced months later when I had forgotten about them. Wife 1.0 also has an automatic Diary, Explorer and E-mail Filter, and can, without warning, Launch TurboStrop and Whinge. These latter products have no Help files, and I have to try to guess what the problem is. Additional problems are that Wife 1.0 needs updating regularly, requiring ShoeShopBrowser for new attachments and Hairstyle Express which needs to be reinstalled every other week. Wife 1.0 also spawns unwelcome child processes that drain my resources. These conflict with some of the new games I wanted to try out, warning me that they are an illegal operation. Also, when Wife 1.0 attaches itself to my Audi TT hard drive, it often crashes. Wife 1.0 also comes with a rather annoying pop-up called Mother-In-Law, which can't be turned off. Recently I've been tempted to install Mistress 2003, but there could be problems. A friend of mine has alerted me to the fact that if Wife 1.0 detects Mistress 2003, it tends to delete all of your Money files before uninstalling itself. Any ideas? You think you have problems!
