I purchased a new Reflex last year and since then have had 4 cut-aways. I've had severe line twists and severe spinning mals where the chute was a ball of garbage. I've switched chutes with my Dolphin and Mirage (not one problem using these rigs) in an attempt to find the problem. I've had no response from the manufacturer. (I learned too late about the companies reputation for bad customer service...) I'm not jumping the Reflex till I get some idea of what's wrong. Your idea's would be greatly appreciated.

The Tempo and PISA chutes are the best selling in Europe. Why do these detractors poo poo PISA because it's foreign? The dominant US manufacturer (PD) uses production outside the US and ohh yes...the HOT NEW Cobalt sure ain't US made! Jump the PISA HeatWave and you will never want to jump a Stilletto again!!!

Well Kid, take a bit of advise from an old dude...
get yourself over to Skyventure in Orlando. Wind tunnel training there is fantastic and nothing will help delvelop belly fly skills faster!

I use silicon lube on the fabric once -a-month to repell dirt. I clean my container packed using a wet vac to extract
dry cleaning fluid.

I've had 3 chops in 125 jumps... The problems were not really due to packing error, more like poor body position
on pull and RSL induced problems, and container induced problems. Because of my experiences and problems others have had, I removed my RSL and stopped jumping my new Reflex container.

I have used the VR personally at Cleveland skydive. I think it's a great tool for learning canopy control.
