  2. So therefore it is ok to pump out Co2 as much as we like, we can just burn coal for energy, drive 6 litre cars, and burn all our refuse because there will be no consequence whatsoever? That is close to about it, yes. But then you have to remember I want my grand kids to choke on poluted air and simmer in exess heat. I want the ground and water poisoned and the dirt chemically made none usable. That fits in with my racist views and my desire to have evil CEO's and corp get terribly high profits. I want the poor shipped to an island and the old kicked out of ther homes Hope I covered it all so you dont have to waste any of your time Gotta love it! 3. Quade is right, first, no credible belief in CNN, it is a major arm of the BHO controlled media, and second, we can't do anything about it. As one of the presidential candidates, Romney I think, said, "It is global warming not America warming." If we can learn to control hurricanes and tornadoes maybe, just maybe, we can learn to change to climate. I seriously doubt it. Bottom line, Biblical prophecy indicates God's plan is for a new earth. The present one will be destroyed by fire. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.
  4. How do I know what value to place in your beliefs, you won't tell me what tthey are. Maybe you don't even know yourself. 6. My belief has exhibited popularity for about 2K years. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.
  7. You can count on that. However, at my age it will be more covert than overt. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.
  8. Nope, I do not wonder at all. I understand completely why you fail to believe. You cannot understand why I do believe. Therefore, the ball is on your side of the net. I am amused at your attempt to play it. Your style is humorous. Noah in NZ, that's wild. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. 9. Ah, you're right. "Liner" should be "linear." Thanks. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.
  10. Why? I am not held accountable to agnostics. At this stage of my life, there are only a few things left for me to take seriously or to ponder. I intend to laugh at as much as I sense that is humanly and personally possible. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. 11. Not logical, you don't believe God exists or has power. A perfectly reasonable belief, given the available evidence. So, there is really no point in challenging my belief. Unless of course, you feel the need to play one-ups-manship games. Or, as Dr. Eric Berne described, IGYYSOB. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. 12. Obviously, at this juncture your statement is true for you. You have stated that you do not hold value for my belief therefore, you would not accept my definition, regardless of what I would say. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. 14. What a wonderful God to give us free will to choose between his plan or be condemned to spiritual death. What a wonderful God to give us talent that we can't use or else he will confuse and confound us. Like the gentleman from Switzerland, your confusion appears to be purposely self-initiated. Your circumlocution wrapped in intellectualization reveals liner thought in a unidemensional plane. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. 15. Define "spiritual". What is your definition of spiritual? Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.
  16. Come on - read the words. Free will to choose, responsibility for choice. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.
  17. Ron, of course the OP can speak best for himself, but I think he was addressing those who actually believe that biblical accounts are historical facts to be taken as literally as possible. Most devout people I know - of any religion - believe their respective religion's scriptural accounts to be allegorical. But I do know a few who really do believe them to be literally true. So, even with the veiled mocking (which I realize you find disrespectful) aside, the inquiry is not unreasonable, on a purely intellectual level, as directed to that specific target audience. I don't see this thread as disrespectful. Rather, I see it as comic relief. Noah discovering New Zealand, really. I usually try to respond from a Scriptural perspective, even when joking around. Sometimes I think that folks don't believe that Christians have a sense of humor, in the same vein that liberals don't understand conservative humor. 18. So God created us in his image and then punishes us for attempting to fulfill our potential ... No, we are condemned to spiritual death for not choosing to follow God's plan for spiritual life. God gives grace and talent to each person. We are held responsible for personal choices in our development. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. 19. Therefore, the original post was spurious and nonsensical. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

  21. So, if evolution does not exist, then is Noah officially the first human to discover new zealand? it seems this way as the maori are only believed to have been there for around 1000 years, we have many birds and other creatures that are secific to NZ so he must have passed through on his mission to collect all the creatures great and small. I really cannot believe how millions of people actually find this plausable? The leaders of countries even have to pretend they believe it also, to keep the votes rolling in. As a christian (if you are), do you actually believe this happened? I am a counselor and minister not an OT scholar. A few years back I partnered with a minister to combat domestic violence. He was a Bible college grad and believed that the different people groups around the world occurred with the spontaneous displacement by God at the Tower of Babel. The flood occurred in Genesis 7 and the latter in Genesis 11. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. 23. Thank you for that! I love conspiracy theory wing nut crack pot crap and that's by far the most entertaining piece I've seen in quite some time. You are quite welcome. 24. As I recall from a study of Genesis, God will confuse and confound any organized effort by mankind that emphasizes human potential. Therefore, God saw the people organizing and believing in themselves and their own power. The Old Testament was a time of Law. The New Testament time is of Grace. These are the end times and God is giving us every opportunity to surrender to His will. Luke 11:2-4 (NKJV) So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.” "The chief end of man is to glorify God and worship Him forever," author unknown. The soul is the mind, the emotions and the will. The proper choice for salvation of the soul is to choose Christ.
