Andy9o8QuoteStop sending guns and money to the middle east!
We should apply the Warren Principle - they've already sent guns and money, there's just one more thing to send!
That right there's pretty funny!
(But if they really want those guys to scatter back into the hills they should send insurance salesmen.) -

promise5He's not suppose to be on the piano. I'm such a failure when it comes to training him.
Get him a guitar or a set of drums. Maybe he'll lose interest in the piano. -

promise5My twin and I went together and spent $1500 for senior pics.
What were we thinking!!!!!
If you two would have taken a couple of minutes to think about it, you could have gotten away for $750 total. -
DeiselAs the parent of a newly matriculated graduate, I have two words for you; captive audience.

LuckyMcSwervyDo they still tell the parents to give the kid a blank check to bring on senior portrait day?
Wow! never heard of doing that! But I did have to confirm their predetermined schedule and prepay online for the sitting and proofs or be SOL for a pic in the yearbook next year. What I don't understand is why it has to be done this week ...only 2 weeks after the end of the school year for next year's book. What if unforeseen circumstances cause him to go to a different school next year? What about kids who transfer to a new school at the beginning of the year? Also, I had to choose among several pricey "packages" including indoor, outdoor poses, etc. To be fair, however, I did finally find a (mostly hidden) choice for a standard yearbook portrait ...so, not so bad after all. -
....that is all. -
Nataly.....I am ready for a change. Somewhere different culturally, and also in terms of the landscape and architecture... Where people approach life in a way that is unfamiliar to me - a perspective that I had not thought of...........
Sounds like Asia. I'd leave the cat at home, though. -

Well, someone needs to point out that the new bulb is way too small. Also, did he get video? How many bulbs has he previously changed? Was he wearing a POV camera and did he have enough experience to wear it?
Although much of their equipment is quite similar, light bulb changing and and lamp fixing are two very different activities, each with its own hazards. -
OK ...here are my picks.
Trifecta box: 4-5-10 (Commanding Curve, Ride On Curlin, General A Rod)
I got a 4-5-9 just in case (Wicked Strong to replace A Rod)
Also a 4-10 Exacta box
And a couple of other long shot combos for the hell of it.
I also got several $2 WIN tickets for Chrome. They would pay very little if he wins but they might make interesting collectibles if left un-cashed. -
Economic Left/Right: 2.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.15 -

We're already riding on one. I think we're heading towards Andromeda Galaxy at a pretty good clip. It'll be a while before we get there, though.
A guy used to come out to Zhills about every weekend and operate an amateur radio transceiver under canopy. But that's probably not as complicated or distracting as texting or taking selfies with a cell phone.
