  2. Sigh. I didn't like it all that much. I wasn't a fan of the last one though. I guess its really hard to cram a book that big into a movie. Things have really digressed as far as which parts of the story they tell.

    I'm not very excited at all. I hope this director does a better job of continuity than the last. Not a huge fan of the new Dumbledore. I expect Dumbledore to act the way he did in the last movie for the Order of the Phoenix movie when he is very distant towards Harry.

  5. I've been playing on Bravo's online Celebrity Poker Showdown thing. It's free. Lame I know but there isn't any money in my bank account to be losing in a poker game. Fulltilt.com is pretty good too, tournies and free play as well.

  8. I was there a year and a half ago for around a month. It is becoming more free but don't expect it to be like the states, it still has a lot of the trappings of a communist state. Our tour bus company was not allowed to stop at any site not "gov't approved". We all wanted to stop at a grocery store to stock up on some chinese beer (mmmmm Tsing Tao and that other Beijing beer) bu tthey couldn't because it wasn't gov't approved, so they drove us a block up the road to a museum that was and we all just walked back to the store. :S Hey while you are there when you buy bottled beer make sure you return the bottle, you get like half the 50 cents it costs you back :)

  17. I just bought an audio of one of shows off Itunes, it's pretty good. I'm angry like him most of the time so I think he is good, as far as his writing, I don't know.

    Or perhaps more importantly, will the audio book selection be any better? Also, will my descendents (assuming I live long enough to procreate) be smart enough to buy the right format (their equivalent of casette tapes versus CDs), because I always end up getting in the car with tapes but then I'm too embarassed to walk back in to switch it so I drive down the interstate to the next one and do it there.

  24. Hi Franco,

    You'll be right down the road from me, I go to school about 45 minutes from there. There is a small dropzone in my college town called Flying Tigers if you ever have the urge to jump out of a small Cessna. Skydive Carolina (Chester) is a great dropzone, it is also the Rodriguez Brother's home dz which means good partying. Blue Sky Adventures (or whatever it is called, the one in St. George) has a skyvan sometimes I think or a King Air but that will be a pretty long haul for you from Greenville. There are some other good dropzones within 4 hours of you if you feel adventurous, I suggest Skydive Monroe over in GA or Carolina Sky Sports (home of the CASAs) near Raleigh, NC. Also, you definitely need to check out the Blind Horse Saloon for a taste of the local nightlife, but be sure to bring a native familiar with that territory. ;):)
