  2. Well I voted no but I'm sure their reasoning is alot of the topics in the bonfire are adult themed and have adult content in them. As I see it, it isn't any of their business how your mother chooses to raise you although it is within their rights to express their concerns to her. If I had kids I think that dz.com would rank very low on the parental radar compared to drugs, alcohol and sex. Maybe they're worried about all the child molestors and miscreants that post here.

  3. I finally yanked my audible out of my helmet pocket one day after 50 or so jumps of not checking it to find I had been getting in the saddle at around 1700 on too many jumps. I had the first alert set for 4 and the "pull, pull motherfucker" tone set for 3k. So I set it to start going off 1500 ft higher and that has seemed to help the problem. I'm getting in the saddle between 3 - 2.5k which I feel alot better about.

  5. I think there are alot worse places on the internet for a minor to be than dropzone.com. Plus you are a part of the community and take part in many things skydiving related so I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to post here. But then again it is HH's site so he can do as he pleases.

  11. When I was in high school I was the head nerd. I'm talking got out of gym class by offering to do the school's web page. Walked around with my nose in a book and also read during all my classes. We're not talking literature here either people, we're talking about Star Wars books. I was head of all of the other nerds too. I was the organizer of many a LAN party. I never drank in high school. The only girl I dated was a Mormon girl (she was nuts) and that was for half of junior and all of senior year.

    Thank FSM that skydiving entered my life and the Dixie Skydivers (Clemson U skydiving club) were there to introduce me to alcohol and completely corrupt me.

    I am secretly still a nerd at heart though. :)

  13. I think the best thing for you to do since all those flights/trains/buses are booked is to just come to South Carolina instead. It's much warmer here. Plus there aren't any french canadians :)

  17. I liked the spaceship and the spinny ones until I gave blood one day and had the "feel like I'm going to faint" reaction for the first time then proceeded directly to the bus for "physics day" at the local amusement park. Barfity barf barf barf. Mmmmm...regurgitated funnel cakes.

    Since statistically there are alot more men in this sport than women wouldn't the women have slept with more guys than guys slept with girls? Does that make since? It shouldn't, I suck at math.
