  2. Who's coming and what school are you representin'? It's this coming weekend (3 day for most schools).

    So far I think 4 people are coming from Clemson and I know the Florida schools will be there. What about you G-tech and Maryland people?

  6. My college roommates and I built one last year, it was a bar with a removable laquered wood top with a felt topped card table underneath. It was built around my mini-fridge and had several shelves for liquer. Sadly when I left for South America I had to leave it behind and it apparentally met a terrible fate at the end of the year.


    edit: if you are looking for green felt, I found a supply from my local video game operator. They usually keep alot around to recover pool tables.

  9. I stayed in a nasty Hostel in Mendoza, Argentina (stay away from Uvas!!!!) and got a skin virus thing called ptyscoriacis rosea (sp?) which is basically chicken pocks without the itchiness. The best part was trying to find a doctor who didn't think I was having an allergic reaction, I finally found a dermatologist that knew what it was after like 3 weeks. It was pretty freaky.


    No, I'm not going to see the movie.

  • I was watching Mythbusters the other night and they were busting an interesting myth about burying beer in sand and then lighting gasoline on top. Anyway they went ahead and compared a cooler full of ice, a cooler of ice and water, a cooler of ice, water and salt as well as the fridge and the freezer all for five minutes to see which chilled beer the fastest. Anyway I won't get into the technical details of why but if you need to chill beer fast the ice+water+salt thing REALLY does the trick.
