    Well if it went from 3.72 dollars per 100,000 earned to 4.91 dollars per 100,000 earned I wouldn't mind it.
    It's amazing how some people think it should be compared to per 100,000

    There are guns sold in countries all over the world. Sneak one across the Mexican border rather than legally importing it, and it is completely untraceable. It is illegal because there is no record of it, no paper trail, it was never legal to begin with. They will come in even if we have a total gun ban and confiscate all "known" guns in the U.S.

    Same applies with a ghost gun. A machineist can carve plastic templates and build an exact replica from scratch. Do this without obtaining a BATF&E document assigning a serial number to that gun, it is a gun that a 14 year old banger is taking to school but doesn't "technically exist". Take every gun out of America and people will make a fortune build these in their basements.
    I agree with your point of view. But what has come to comanly be known as a ghost gun thanks to MSM is not necessarily illegal. I have a half dozen in my safe that I made for my own personal use that have no serial number do not require one. And are perfectly legall per ABTFE regulations. Gohst gun is the new boogie man.

    i think his observation is that positive rights are inherently "more of a right" in practice than negative rights. Being allowed to do something is a weaker mandate than being entitled to it.


    Further, his comment points out that healthcare is indeed a positive right in this country via emergency rooms. That's not to say ERs are a great way of implementing healthcare as a positive right, it's just to say that they do.
    You have to realise kallend just has to berate other people rather then discussing the subject. Its much easier for some to try and discourage a conversation about something then to add anything of value.:S

  6. Yes winning a court order and collecting one is two different things. Did they collect money for legal fees or legal penalties? The two are different.
    I am not defending anyone in this case. But it is funny if a few key words are changed it is ok by people saying it is wrong, and vice versa.
    To many people get caught up in what do other people say I should believe in. On both sides.

    Which one is actually more of a right? Go to a hospital ER, And no means to pay. You get treated. Now go to a gun store to buy a gun with no means to pay for it you walk away without a New gun.
    Just cause it is a right does not mean somebody else has to pay for it.

I really really hope you are never selected for jury duty as you have shown us here that you habitually make your mind up on an incident with 50% of the information or less.     Really when somebody answers,your post on one incident you want to counter with 3 or 4 others. Learn how to reply to leos and you won't get shot. You want to act bad and like a thug your odds increase you will be shot.

    You pride yourself in training airmen that went to war in Vietnam. Would you have told them to not shoot untill all other options we're tried.

    Most sane people do not consider it a war of the common citizen against police. But there are a lot that do. And they get fuel from both sides.

    So I guess in your eyes police are supposed to just stand there and get shot when somebody does the opposite of what their told. Is that what you would have instructed those airmen to do?

  13. Well I will resurrect this thread. First off I love this dog dearly. She was a free dog wandering the streets. But like my Grandpa told me there is no such thing as a free dog. She has cost me at least 15 grand In vet bills.
    She has been stitched up 7 times treated for snakebite, had a toe amputated she chewed on after surgery for a dog fight. The last was two lumps removed that was breast cancer. Oh and 6 weeks after I took her in from the street she had 12 puppies. I got rid of all But one that I kept.
    Wich brings us to today she is over 2 times the weight as when I got her. But she is not getting around well her rear legs are failing her. I have been giving her metacam for arthritis for two years now.
    Was wondering if anybody knew of anything that might help with mobility? I understand she is old and maybe it is just coming to that time. But as long as she is happy I will do what I can to keep her that way.
    Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    It's obvious that he took the guts of an old clock and put it in a new case - which is about what I would expect a somewhat bright 14 year old kid to be able to do.


    Really at 14 I was able to etch my own circuit boards and assemble some semi complicated projects. Repackaging something would have been cheating in my eyes at the time.
    Although at 14 I had all ready rebuilt 2 v8 engines also, one Chevy and one Ford.

    Operator error is my bet as well. Either the crane was in use when it shouldn't have been, or the supporting structure wasn't engineered properly.

    From memory isn't there a 50kph limit on tower crane operation unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer?
    From what I've seen on the interwebs (so it must be true!) Mecca was getting sustained winds of around 40kph that day. It's not hard to believe they got some big gusts...

    Stupidity is not a disqualifying condition for gun ownership. It should be, but it isn't.
    Stupidity should be a disqualifying condition for a lot of things. But it isn't.
    What is really sad is that someone thinks a constitutional right should have some some way to weed out the dumb ones from having that right.
