  1. http://www.fluidwings.com/prime I really like what this company is doing.
  2. I got a phone call from Dave today, he said the entire rig is cut and ready to go into production. Amazing BTW. Dave also wanted to go over the colors of the binding tape, the embroidery color, and the cordura colors. He thought that all three colors were not going to jive too well. So he called me to go over some ideas. Amazing CS!!!
  3. Glad you are giving Dave a second chance. I ordered my rig from him, and he was outstanding. I was going to get a vector, but I think the Glide is going to be better quality. I will let you know, I get it first of December. Rob
  4. You should call. The first time I called I got Dave, and talking with him was great. It just made me want to buy the container that much more. Also he helped me with the design, and emailed me on Sunday. The service has been outstanding!
  5. https://www.amazon.com/Glad-Recycling-Drawstring-Kitchen-Clear/dp/B00MY48VLU/ref=sr_1_36_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1508759104&sr=8-36&keywords=clear+bags these might work
  6. https://store.performancedesigns.com/collections/jumping-gear/products/canopy-carry-bag-1 PD makes a pretty nice bag that keeps the risers right
  7. Dave really went out of his way to make my experience perfect. So the order is finalized! I enclosed a screen shot.
  8. Same with me, then I followed up with a call. I told Dave about the emails, and he was not getting them. For some reason the web mail was not working. I get it, the IT stuff is hard to deal with when running a small company
  9. They are good, provide the best they can. was hoping for they are awesome, and they take quality to the next level.
  10. I was interested in the Glide container and called Peregrine today. It was a great conversation, and it appears this company is building some really great quality gear. However since they are new, I just thought I would reach out and see if those who have the container are happy with the product. Thank you, Rob
  11. But, don't you think PD would have developed a special sail fabric based on all the testing with the Peregrine?
  12. PD says that the life of a canopy is between 1,000-1,500 jumps, but have seen canopy's last 2,500-3,500 http://www.performancedesigns.com/general-faqs/ I jumped the excalibur (sp) and it was only good for about 400 jumps.
  13. any word on how many jumps the hybrid is good for?
  14. I have a TS that is in really nice condition. let me know if you want to buy it?
  15. My plan is to head to DeLand, and spend a week jumping the $hit out of PD's gear.
  16. Two things: I do not change my gear that often. I plan on keeping my Katana for multiple reasons. typically I spend lots of time getting to know a new canopy before I make this my every day canopy.
  17. at this point I am considering everything. So yes the JFX is in play
  18. I am looking to get my first crossbraced canopy and was looking for a little input. I was looking at a velo 120 for a start. I would be loading in up right at 2.0. My exit weight is 240, I am 6-7 so back off the fat jokes, haha. At first I was looking for a canopy that has the best openings, but that was a fail, the more I read on here the more I realized it was too subjective. I take my time packing, so it seems getting a crossbraced canopy to open well, will just take jumps and time to get to know her. So is the Velo at 2.0 a good place to start or should I consider the JVX? I was thinking PD just because the service is so good.
