    I'm sorry AirAnn

no worries, i've not been "lurking" actually until the other day, i have never even read a post. i just cruised the front page for news etc... i don't intend to be a regular poster though, too much bs, i can see that already! i dont have time for it. but it is a kewel forum for those that like it! merrick: as you can see from what started this whole mess, is that others just had to get involved in my post to someone else. good, bad, or indifferent, that's the long and the short of it. but to answer your question about zennie, yes, i've met him, no i don't know him on a personal basis. but the others on the other hand, i do know personally, and i do not believe i would have been flamed if they had realized that "rgoper" is my moniker on this board. (by the way, i've been skydiving over a year, and visiting this site that long, and that was my first post) and the reaction that the posts drew was largely egotistical and narcisist, in my opinion. if you go back to the original post that got all this crap started, you'll see that myself and others, once realizing who everyone was, sought a peaceful resolution. (except for one, which shall remain nameless) i consider myself a fairly diplomatic person, and have never started any trouble, and have never had any trouble with others. this whole incident is the very thing that takes the fun out of skydiving sometimes. cliques, skygods, egos, drinking and jumping, smoking dope and jumping...etc. (oh yeah, it goes on, i've seen it) the sad thing about the whole affair is we're supposed to be a family. every new jumper i see get on the jumpship, i always check there gear, make sure there properly equipped, etc...and there are other jumpers who do the same, because even though you dont know them, there part of our world, and we care about them. i hope this addressed your question, if it didnt, i have nothing further to add. have a great day! i thought airann and myself were friends as well, we've known each other a long time, and ann, i have taken up for you on numerous occasions. i can't believe you "threw in with them" when it never had anything to do with you, until you involved yourself on your own accord, that really hurt my feelings, but i know you don't care, or you wouldn't have said anything at all. i'm not mad at you, it would take way more than this, but i am dissapointed. as i said in the other posts, it was a freaking joke, a satirical joke....jeez-us-h! i've never ever had a conflict with anyone on the dz....EVER. you know that, for you to bear up arms against me, it really puzzles me. i can't believe technology can establish such narcissist attitudes, it just blows me away. ann, i love you, and have always cared for you, so please don't take this the wrong way. it was just a lame joke gone bad, my fault. Fear Of Flying

airann: if you remember correctly, we were both on student status at the same time, although you may have jumped first. my response to zennie's post was meant to be satirical. but i see only badass egos prevail.....which is just one reason i don't jump at said dz any longer. jumping is about escaping reality, we all know that. the drinking, partying, skygod crap, and all the other bs, i have NEVER indulged in, anyone can go in, at any time. doesn't matter WHO you are, or how many thousands of dollars of equipment your wearing, or how many websites we have to promote our friends/causes/issues/egos/etc... you and i have known each other a long time, we've jumped out of the same plane a lot of times, have you ever witnessed me in a mean spirited manner/demeanor? as far as slappie's wise crack...i advised him of my whereabouts. i meant no harm, but you can see the angnst of the spaceland bunch manifested in ther're replies. it was a fucking joke you spaceland skygods! plan your dive, dive your plan! LOL LOL by the way, you mentioned your not a flamer, i guess going from my observation of other posts here, you can't drink either? watch your mouth, it will come back to haunt you, trust me. you know where i'm at, come and get me! blue skies, black death! gravity is my friend Richard

    Fear Of Flying

zennie: i trained at spaceland just like you did, only way before. don't confine yourself to one dz. come out and cahallenge your new found skills, ok, so you can take pictures...humph...well. lets go out and do some freeflying, sit, headdown, speedstar, whatever. i'm not slamming your achievements, they are wonderful. BUT...if your skered of jumping for whatever reason, jump in the pocket of my freefly suit! forget the pictures, and documentation of your achievements (although amaturish in my opinion) via fly cam. let's go! come out to skydive houston in waller, lets see whats what. this is a challenge by the way. Blue Skies....Black Death From the real "wild one" Richard never under estimate the forces of gravity, i don't, and it is my friend!
