  1. So in Austria our season is over for this year, and I am looking already forward to the Skydive Spain Xmas Boogie in Sevilla to get back into the air
  2. Skydive Bovec operated by Aviofun in Slovenia might be interesting for you as well: https://www.facebook.com/aviofun/
  3. Hi Everyone! I am looking for a new RW jumpsuit for serious 4 way competition. I have talked to fellow skydivers, read through the existing threads I found here, and checked the webpages of several brands. One of the suits I consider is the brand new Parasport Diablo, so I've been wondering if maybe some of you guys already had the chance to jump with it and what you think about it. I also wrote to Parasport about the differences of there suits ( especially the difference between the Ghibli and the Diablo ), and also asked why the Diablo does not have vented booties, and what the benefits of this design should be. Here is the answer from them, if anyone is interested in it:
  4. Actually there aren't that much dropzones in Austria, and the ones I mentioned ( except Wels ) probably are further away than 100km. It really depends, where exactly you will be staying in Upper Austria. If its close to the German border, maybe you have a German dropzone in reach.
  5. Only dropzone I can think of in Upper Austria is in Wels ( http://www.unionlinz.com/ ). But I don't know anything about paragliding going on there. If you have time to travel around you could also go do the dropzones in - Krems ( http://www.fallschirmspringen-krems.at/ ) - Wr. Neustadt ( https://www.paraclub.at ) - Graz ( http://www.oefc.at/cms/ )
  6. Looking at their facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/Icarusworld/photos/a.549799728377032.127580.538444502845888/1549053748451620/?type=3&theater which quotes: and especially at the wingload of 2.5 it seems pretty clear, that the X-Fire will play in a different class than the Crossfire2 / Crossfire3 which have a suggested maximum wingloading of 2.1/2.0.
  7. Hi! My home dropzone is in Graz, Austria. We only operate on weekends and on public holidays. As far as I know the same goes for the other dropzones in Austria. Only if there is a special event or AFF Training going on the dropzones sometimes operate during the week, but I don't think there is something like this next week. Jay
  8. Hola! Me and another friend should receive our crossfire3's on friday from our rigger. If the weather is fine we should be able to put some jumps on them at the weekend. I am changing from a Safire2 139 to a Crossfire3 119. My friend is changing from a Safire2 129 to a Crossfire3 109. So we might be able to tell you something after we had a few jumps, but we won't be able to provide you with the information on how the Crossfire3 does compare to the Crossfire2. Any other specific questions that we might be able to answer, coming from the Safire2 background?
