  1. I just got word that a club member has donated a hog for Thursday night. It will be free. No sides provided, so beer and pork Thursday night! Friday and Saturday dinners with all the fixings are still on. Thanks Duane!!
  2. I just posted the jump prices at $25.50. $25 cash discount. We will begin jumping WEDNESDAY late afternoon with "Secret Otter Loads". Nothing secret about them. Just show up with a rig and some money and we'll put you on a plane! We'll begin Thursday once we have enough jumpers which should happen around 10am, if not sooner. Please come out and support us. The biggest piece of feedback I got was to make our FR-SU boogie longer to make it worth the vacation and gas money. We'll start late Wednesday and not stop until Sunday. We've done this for YOU THE FUN JUMPER.....see you there. Food - Booze - Free Coaching - Free Organizing - Camping/RV - Theme parties - REDEMPTION BOOGIE 2008
  3. Jump tickets are $25.50. $25 cash discount. should this say, Has Jimmy Coiner made a decision on the price of the lift tickets yet?
  4. We will be in a building that is smaller. We have put manifest in a camper to gain some of that space back. On top of that, LSPC has purchased some rather large packing tents that will go in the field next to the hanger. We'll actually have more room for packing than this year. No A/C, but if you wish, pack under the tent and hope for a little breeze! I'm sure a hit-n-chug contest can be arranged!
  5. Even though we will not have donkey polo, you can all try and get Jimmy Coiner on your fishbowl drinking team. Even though Nick Blacksher had a rough outing, I have a recruiter in negotiations with him right now. So comb through your skydiving videos and pick the best of teh best to be on your drinking team. Your image as a drunken skydiver depends on it.
  6. Skyventure Colorado is our major sponsor this year. They will be providing one-on-one horizontal and vertical fly coaching. All it will cost you is a jump ticket for yourself. They will pay for their own jump! Stop by their tent for killer discounts on tunnel time good for up to 12 months from purchase. Firefly Suits rock! How can you have a boogie without Sherry? She’ll have her tent of stock suits as well as her measuring tape to size you up for that hot suit you’ve always wanted! Mirage will be here to show off their gorgeous G3 and G4 line of containers. The venerable Ward Hessig may also have a few new items to show you that helps explain why Mirage is one of the industry greats! UPT-Vector is here with their fabulous Vector container line. Wanna do a Skyhook demo? Greg Rau is more than willing to put you in the demo rig and let you see the magic for yourself! Performance Designs will be returning with their arsenal of demo canopies. Whether you want to try out the Optimum reserve, Velocity or the versatile Spectre they have the canopy for you to demo! Talk to our friendly Iowa boy gone big time – Nick Grillet for the latest on what PD has to offer. Joel - If they don't have a Navigator, you can jump one of our student rigs that has one. Re: Frank, I wanted to demo some canopies and I was wondering if PD or any of the other manufacturers are going to be setting up at the boogie.
  7. Re: Women's load. If someone would like to organize an all women's load. Please contact me ASAP and we'll make sure it happens. Joe - I heard Jimmy Coiner wears women's panties so as far as I'm concerned, he can jump with the ladies...
  8. Yes, there will be a separated swooping area. It worked well last year and was viewed as an excellent safety enhancement. I want to see you put on a swooping display!
  9. I better watch my back, actually my leg, during the Pirates vs Ninja as well as the Laid Back Luau parties. I'll see you mo fos in the sky!
  10. I wish I had control of the world's oil supply and could drive prices back down! Joel X and Jamie Bruce have schemed the Pirates vs Ninjas party. I am a ninja as seen in pic. $28 gets you a bad ass suit for this party!
  11. We had an error on the web site as it had last year's info, registration is $40 this year. Price is fuel has gone up so much the ferry fees are getting expensive. The Skydive Arizona Otter will be rocking the house as usual. To make sure you get more value, we've set up a Friday "Pirates vs Ninjas" party with a giant naked twister board, fishbowl drinking contest - winning team gets free jump tix and of course our Laid Back Luau is Saturday. Both nights offer plenty of beer and the best boogie BBQ you will have!
  12. Rumor has it "Jackie" Clausen will be wearing a skirt and coconut bras.....once again, another classic photo opportunity....
  13. OK, here's the latest info: - Tickets same as last year: $23 or $22 at cash discount - $35 registration gets you beer TH-SA, FR & SA meals, facilities, ferry on two bad ass planes and a band. - RV power is $15 for the entire weekend. We invested heavily in cable and terminals. LSPC is going from 18 slots last year to 30 this year.
  14. Taking a break from Jimmy, the boogie is still on! We have the Friday luau nailed so bring your Hawaiian shirt! Our guy Jerry, who "discovered" Chris Lager band has another band picked out. Look forward to that on Saturday. The Otter and Beech 99 are 100% in and will be flying like mo fo's! Be there by noon on Thursday - that's when jumping starts. Stay tuned for ticket prices. We're still watching fuel which seems to be doing OK. FF3
  15. Yes: Lays, coconut bras, grass skirts. We are attempting to purchase right now..... :)
  16. Joel Davies did an excellent job last year and we offered the organizing slot this year. He has another commitment, however. I am glad to announce that Jeremy Payne former resident of: LSPC, Skydive AZ, Skydive Ogden, Perris and now somewhere in Wisconsin will be organizing. Jeremy has excellent qualifications and is a heck of a great guy to work with. We look forward to bringing him "home" for the boogie. He is currently working up dive plans and ideas for the 100 jump wonder to the freefly savage with 1,000+ jumps. Chris Lager rocks. Repetition, however, leads to eventual boredom. We don't want to have the same old, same old like many boogies. Thus, we need to reinvent ourselves. Jerry will treat us well!
  17. In response to both Joe and Jimmy, here’s the skinny: - Skydive AZ twin otter will be the workhorse on FR/SA/SUN - The notoriously slow Skyvan is gone. We are replacing with the Beech 99 out of Quantum Leap. For those of you who have not been in this plane, it is a cross between a King Air and Otter. It has a BIG door and is FAST. It can handle 10-21 jumpers. It will be the primary plane on Thursday. Since it is a little smaller it will allow us to spin the plane easier for a fluid day on Thursday. Take the time off, it will be worth your while. The Beech 99 will also back the otter up on FR/SA/SU so expect plenty of action. - Sandy Grillet will handle RW organizing. - Nick Grillet will have a massive load of PD canopies for people to demo. He may also help pull some RW organizing during his slow hours. - Stay tuned for freefly organizers as I am working on filling that gap. - After two years at Redemption Boogie and Couch Freaks, Chris Lager will not be there. He's touring and we wish the best to him as he's really doing good things. Jerry Eddens at our club will mix it up and get us someone. It's good to mix things up!
  18. Thanks Joe. Over 150 skydivers were there. We flew almost 80 Otter & Van loads which busted out over 1500 skydives! Thanks to the LSPC club members that ran the event and the jumpers for making the skydives and three nights of partying memorable...well I remember most of it...I think...
  19. Show up sooner than last load, sucka! We'll be starting as soon as I feel we have enough jumpers. Jimmy will be there all day autographing rigs and chick's boobies.
  20. There will be a stripper Thursday night for Nick's bachelor party. Everyone is welcome to attend the ground show we'll have. We ask for $5 to help cover the cost of her and would like everyone to bring some beer to share with friends.
  21. Registration is $30. That covers two nights of meals, Friday band, Saturday DJ, RV power, Freefly and RW organizing and helps with the ferry fee. I THINK jump tix are going to be $22. It all depends on the price of Jet A fuel, which seems to be stable right now. This pricing is competitive with what I am seeing out there.
  22. Chris Lager will be playing on FRIDAY this year. We have a DJ set up for Saturday. As most of you know, we have a skydiver wedding - Nick Blacksher and ChAzi Rutz. That will happen Saturday night. The reception is being held in the hangar and is meant for EVERYONE at the boogie to attend. Nick and ChAzi said if they don't know you then he wants to meet you. The DJ will rock through the night, the beer will be flowing, the bride and groom will be dishing out the boogie prizes. Heard something about free well drinks Saturday. You'd have to show up to see if that is the real thing or just boogie legend...
  23. That is Chris. Great tandem instructor. He will be there. Ask to speak to me - Frank - and I'll try and hook you up with him. Glad you want to come back and get the wind in your face again!
  24. Besides Jimmy we have Freefly organizer Joel Davies from Minneapolis as well as Sandy and Nick Grillet on the RW side of the house. Want to chill out with your own groove? Check out the blues band Friday and DJ Saturday while you munch on the meals provided both nights. Rockin' time. Bet you'll never have a better time in Nebraska!
