"I can only guess that the idea is: blunt force = ruptured big blood vessels in the chest = CPR will only bleed the victim out faster = No CPR. " good point.

Best place to learn?
FlyingPortagee replied to mattjohnson89's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Perris, CA if you really want to bang out jumps. They have a fleet of planes and lots of big ways all the time and do a lot of military training jumps so planes are going up very frequently. Plus they have a bar. -
Age means NOTHING. Age is a state of mind. Want to wingsuitBASEjump? Not too late. you choose your path.Quote

The nightmares are pretty normal. I had skydiving nightmares when I started. You shouldnt be discouraged though. There will be setbacks and bad days but the AMAZING days will outnumber them by far. You shouldnt jump till your 100% ready. As for the harness questions I'm not qualified to get into that but it might be a good question to ask in the "Instructors" section. Keep your head up. Blue skies. -

I know you hate me Sparky. You make a good point. I only trust Spotted Eagle. Everyone else makes me wonder... There needs to be official structure for this stuff. I think the most important thing i have learned in skydiving is that a "minor" mishap can quickly escalate to full blown disaster. Instructors have to be Experts and I suspect EVERY instructor will tell you they are an expert. -
Bill is awesome. My first time jumping there he gave me an hour long brief of the DZ. Everything. Really cool guy, I love skydive Lodi and they're rental gear is top notch.

Great shots, editing, and music. Awesome video. thx -
Welcome. How is Skydive Norcal ? I usually jump in Perris ( socal ) but I've jumped in Lodi and Skydive Bay area. Lodi was awesome in my opinion they're rental gear is super nice. I was not impressed with Skydive bay area at all..Plus they're gear was pretty sketch...Great people, atmosphere and instructors though.
