  1. Is there an ability to save a dive and/or email it from the app? My 1st gen Kindle Fire doesn't have screen capture, so there's no way for me to create dives to be used at a later time.
  2. Has anybody had a chance to try out one of these helmets? I'm not fully decided on whether I want to get the Kiss or the Bonehead Aero. The Kiss seems to be engineered better, with the inclusion of the audible altimeter slots and the design where the visor meets the helmet. The Aero, on the other hand, appears to have a larger visor and includes a cutaway chin strap. I wish I had a dealer nearby so that I could try them both for fit and visibility.
  3. Decided to take a chance and purchase an RW suit not typically worn by jumpers in the US. I was first impressed by the suit's unique pattern and also the suit designer feature on their website. The customer service was superb and I ended up with a suit of excellent quality, $100 less expensive than its US-based competitors, and shipped in only 4 weeks! It fits perfectly and I've already used it for a tunnel camp and a number of jumps. I'll definitely be a lifelong customer.
  4. Jimmy and Slim led my A-license training at Emerald Coast. You'll see the same words written about Jimmy when you read the news articles and people's posts: a soft-spoken, safety-conscious and knowledgeable mentor. His rock-solid expertise and attention to detail make this accident even more shocking. It's gonna be incredibly tough being at the DZ without Jimmy's physical presence. I'm going to sorely miss him.
  5. I don't think I'll make it to any boogies that soon. I need to get my A license and practice jumping with groups a little. I'll probably be able to progress a lot faster once I finish the AFF course. How do I find out when/where the boogies are being planned? They sound like a blast and I can probably learn quite a lot from all the experienced jumpers.
  6. "Old farts" is right. Don is 82 years old and still jumps every weekend. Who should I say sent the smack on the butt for Becky?
  7. Hey, everyone. Thought it'd be good to introduce myself since I've been perusing through this site for a little while now. I'm new to the sport and now have 8 jumps under my belt. I know I don't need to tell anybody on this forum how thrilling this sport is. Wish I could jump every day. My home DZ is Emerald Coast Skydiving Center, near Pensacola, FL. Hope I can get out and meet some fellow jumpers at their home DZ's once I get my A license. Sean
