Third Jeddah International Championship for Skydiving (1) Location of the Championship: Jeddah – K.S.A. (2) Duration of the Championship: 9 -18 July 2003. (3) The participant teams: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Oman Sultanate – Morocco – Egypt – Jordan – Syria – United Arab Emirates – Malaysia – Indonesia – Singapore – Japan – Thailand – Philippines – Spain – Turkey – Brazil – South Korea. Also opened for individual 4 way teams. (4) The Participant Delegation: Chief of delegation – international judge – coach – 5 jumpers for formation team, 5 jumpers for accuracy landing team, total of (13 persons). (5) The Facilities: - An Entry visa to K.S.A. - Hostage in a hotel in Jeddah. - Three meals daily. - Transportations to all teams within the city of Jeddah. (6) Reception: All the delegations will be welcomed and departed from King Abdul Aziz International airport. (7) Type of Championship: a. Competition on Accuracy Landing. b. Formation contest (RW). (8) The Judging: (FAI) rule will be applied. (9) Prizes: a. The Formation competitions (teams) will be as follows: (1) The first winners will get the Cup of Prince Abdul Mageed for the formation and the golden medals plus US$5000. (2) The second winners will get the silver medals plus US$ 4000. (3) The third winners will get the bronze medals plus US$ 3000. b. The Accuracy competitions (teams) will be as follows: (1) The first winners will get the Cup of Prince Abdul Mageed for accuracy and the golden medals plus US$5000. Dear All Thank you a million for all advice provided in this post This shows that you are a lovely person from inside out, Sure I am still a skydiver even if I am in a wheelchair, The doctors I went to never even thought of letting me jump again, My cervical spinal is it bad shape for at least a year or so. I am sad; but I am looking forward for this year to end, The thing is: I am still related to skydiving so mush, I never had a action sport like skydiving, simply it's addiction to the limit. I am now starting the first skydiving equipment company here in Saudi, hopefully the sport will start activity as soon as the Saudi Aviation privet club kicks off. Hi all I hold about 200 jumps Yesterday I jumped with my camera as always I was videoing an AFF 1st level I had the most horrible hard opening I screamed so lowed, that most of the load heard me Even on the camera you can hear me screaming, the camera stopped recording on the opening, I think from the impact To make it short my nick was killing me Went to the hospital, made an MRI scan, I did saw 5 & 6 section on the spinal fraction. The doctor giving me a nick holder, He told me to ware it for the next 6 weeks, And he advised me not to jump for the rest of my life. Can you jump with a AFF 1st jump alone?(with out another jumpmaster) I heard that in France they require only one jumpmaste? is that true? If you jump from the plane with a AFF student on his first jump and the other jumpmaster could not hold the student , the student is stable and everything is good. What the HECK!!!! It's expensive, this sport is fu??ing expensive I will be buying my first rig in this year for sure, Everyone I ask is telling me to buy a South African stuff: Hornet or Heatwave with a tempo reserve and a Chutshop container. But quality tells me to buy a SABRE with a PD reserve and a Javelin or Wings container. Come on guys help with this critical money thing I have to deal with? And please give me an idea about the full thing deal and where is the best place to buy it online !! yes online cuz I am from far away from the US. Hi All Today, just before 2 hours, I jumped my PD190 I was the team's cameraman; it was a tail door (Ramp) When we made liftoff in the plain it was about 10 knots wind speed, witch was good for me, but I was surprised when I approached the landing area, OOO wind speed There was less than 2000 people watching, my flair timing was totally wrong, so I came on my face with my right hand upfront, Yes I did hurt my hand but that was not the sad part, I was the only one from 9 skydivers who landed exactly in front of the stage (Today was a graduation ceremony) and everyone was clapping there hands for me , but for real I didn't deserve it. I am looking forward to improve my landing way, but what to say; we have an ASPHALT DZ.
