DSE 3 #1 March 24, 2008 Got to jump my new Blade. Seems like it took forever... Sweet to fly, coming to it from a Phantom, Firebird, and GTI, it's not like I have a lot to compare it to. After putting 4 rides on it, I'm looking forward to really digging in to it. One question for the Blade owners....it seems it flies better if I'm not dearched, but rather flying flat? mccordia 73 #2 March 24, 2008 I think a lot of people are overdoing their de-arch.. At least in the way I fly (any suit) aside from a bit of a push, merely tilting my hip a few degrees, there is not much of a de-arch to speak off... So yes..flying it 'flat' is definately not a bad thing... Though it may vary per person, its the way I fly as wellJC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? VectorBoy 0 #3 March 24, 2008 ...it seems it flies better if I'm not dearched, but rather flying flat? De-arching was really important in the days of the classic and the gti to get that last .75% in performance that some people had to fight for. Now some suits don't require it or that painfull stretching the suit out so much anymore. Most or the mono suits like flat better. Some newer designs like lower body focus and you just hold the arms out there somewhere until they inflate and you are good. I couldn't even tell you what the Tony suits require.
