bodypilot1 0 #26 January 11, 2007 QuoteI learned a lesson on a jump with Avery. Don't try to film his openings. I have filmed alot of Avery's openings while jumping my Nitorn 98 . . . . . . . .after it's already open at roughly 2k. BenediktDE 2 #27 January 11, 2007 QuoteI use the mudflapmount from bonehead and it works great for me.It's far enough to the side so it doesn't get false readings.Only hassle is when you are packing. The thing is kind of rigid. There is a nice version of mudflapmount at Lookma Paraphernalia It still a bit in the way when packing but not as much as a rigid one. I like mine very much. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
Kunstrasen 0 #28 April 16, 2007 I am pretty sure it is no news to most of you. However just a short update on my experiance: Have the wedge since roughly 50 jumps. About the possible misreadings: Could not find any. Neither on belly or back there was a difference in readings between hand mount and the wedge. Suit is a S6. BenediktDE 2 #29 April 16, 2007 I also did the first 20 jumps with an altimeter mounted on the wedge and on my wrist. Since aprox. 80 jumps I use the one on the wedge only. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
