andyturner 0 #1 June 19, 2009 Hi, My CRW canopy doesn't have a tail pocket so I was thinking of ditching the DBag and just free stowing the lines. From what I can gather you just feed them into the container in the shape of a figure 8. Apart from this are there any tricks & tips? Thanks & regards, Andy
faulknerwn 37 #2 June 20, 2009 You can get an aftermarket tail pocket sewn on easy - just off the end of the tail so no canopy changes needed and just plop rubber bands on it.. It took my rigger 5 minutes to make one on one of my rigs..
Dutton 0 #3 June 20, 2009 Do not do this if you have stiffeners in your container flaps or snag points. However, I had a friend who jumped an old SST and Unit and had good results figure-eighting his lines in the pack tray and rubber banding his slider up. Cliff! Looked cool unpacking, too...
