CJK 0 #1 February 11, 2005 Hi Guys and Girls, I read on the web that some CReW Camera persons make use of a step-in cross connector (some allso call it speed bars and all sorts of silly names). What I am looking for is a step in stirrup so that I can control front riser with my legs while having my hands available for toggles. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of setup? Cheers, CJKGrounded?!?!?! Whadda ya mean I'm "GROUNDED"?!?!?!?!
teamhypoxia 0 #2 February 11, 2005 I've tried it. as have a few others I know. I found myself wanting an attachment at my chest strap or something that the webbing could run through to keep it more vertical. it had a tendency to put me back into a recliner position. I also found it hard to "throttle". Either front riser for full effect, or none at all. I think Brian Scott has used it with more success than me. BillyVance 34 #3 February 12, 2005 I think I've seen Tom Plonka use something similar..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
