Slappie 9 #1 October 3, 2002 Ok I haven't done much research an what I have done doesn't tell me what I want to know. I want to know what the Texas Record is for a FF jump. Also what are the rules? Is it reconised by the USPA? Is there an actual World Record an if so what is it? Just thoughts this morning.. I dunno so I ask See ya guys at Spaceland Saturday!! I can't wait to get back to a DZ!! Trent 0 #2 October 3, 2002 The current Texas FF record was done in Dallas this summer. 9 people docked for 5 seconds, head down. We almost had 12, but couldn't get it so we also had 11... but it was supposed to be 12 so it doesn't count. Right now, IPC doesn't have official guidelines for freefly records, so we just use the rules for belly formations. See you at Spaceland this weekend, hopefully we'll have a new Texas record.Oh, hello again!
Levin 0 #3 October 3, 2002 there is also the 7-way headdown round record that was built at skydive houston back in july, 2000. building a large round is much more difficult than a bigway with a small base and stingers. since it's a seperate record i figured it should be mentioned. levin vSCR#17, vSCS#
Pippy 0 #4 October 4, 2002 Glad to hear the records are posted based on formation! Since I do RW we can set the largest round, then the largest Texas Star, snowflake, Canadian T, Compressed Accordian. Teams could specialize and become National Champs by formation too! This was actually posted by Gemini...I forgot to log off!SAFE IS COOL

Levin 0 #6 October 4, 2002 the degree of difficulty is 10 fold. i would be much more impressed with a 10 way round than a 20-way with a small base and stingers. Levin vSCS#
