Zymurdoo 0 #1 November 10, 2011 Hello all, I have a friend who is currently stationed in Afghanistan and is coming home soon. He has a residence in the Philippines but will be visiting the Western US for an extended stay in spring/summer. He has done a few S/L jumps in Ohio, prior to military training, when he was 230-250. The aging process has provided another 20 lbs since then. He would like to get licensed while he is in the States. I have done a bit of searching and read every post I can find dealing with heavy students, etc. I am, however, having difficulty locating a DZ which can accommodate larger students. Can anyone point me in the right direction? DZs, phone numbers, etc. Thanks and Blue Skies in advance, RickBlue Skies, Soft Docks and Happy Landings! jackwallace 3 #2 November 10, 2011 Check with Deland. A few years ago they taught a guy that was over 300.U only make 2 jumps: the first one for some weird reason and the last one that you lived through. The rest are just filler. scr

grimmie 173 #5 November 11, 2011 We took a fireman friend of mine about 7 years ago AFF at Perris. They were the only DZ with a student rig for a 6'6" 255lb person.
