RMK 3 #26 October 25, 2015 HellisRe: formatting USB. I would suggest FAT32 if it's possible. Newer types might not work on other devices as DVDs and mediaplayers. I have my 64 GB card to my GoPro formated FAT32 so that I can look at the videos on a mediaplayer. Doesn't FAT32 have a 4GB single file limit? I have all my personal flash drives formatted NTFS to avoid this. Per TK's query, which format can be read by both PC & Mac?"Pain is the best instructor, but no one wants to attend his classes"
RMK 3 #27 October 25, 2015 DSEI would avoid Dropbox I agree with DSE, don’t use DropBox, it’s a terrible Mom & Pop internet solution. If looking at a solution for sending large files; have a look at www.wetransfer.com I use it for my business and it’s great. The other side does not need an account or login (unlike DropBox). You can also customise the landing page with the Pro service which is only EUR 10m/month. Another note to the above; you'll definitely want USB 3.0 sticks being made on USB 3.0 drives on your computers - will greatly speed up the process compared to USB 2.0."Pain is the best instructor, but no one wants to attend his classes"

If you use FAT32 on your GoPro it will just split the files. The problem with NTFS is that DVDs, TVs, etc. sometimes can't read the memory.

Thanks for sharing the script and setup protocol. I can't see this working for a large DZ (it's not common to find fat pipes where big DZ's operate), but for smaller DZ's, it's a great solution! I think we here in Finland are lucky to have unlimited/uncapped/fast LTE/4G networks with fixed fee (~20€/mo).
