Sony Vegas crashes

Recommended Posts

Below is three screenshots at the same frame.
1 is the original file from the camera.
2 is when the file has been renderd in Vegas as a mp4 file.
3 is when the renderd file has been renderd again as a mp4.

There is some difference, but not as much as you would notice it when it's beeing played as a video in my opinion

the way to know "for sure" is to download the demos of the newer versions and run them. They're good for 30 days....

As mentioned above, you may have memory issues.hopefully you tried setting your DMR to 0.

Sorry I can't help you more. Not being at the machine makes it tough.

Could be, but that should mean I can not run three windows of Vegas at each ~750 MB.
And that my RAM is bad on my laptop also.

I've seen some weird shit happen with bad ram, so I wouldn't rule it out till it's been tested.

Good luck, wish I could be more of a help!

DSE,

Many thanks for that tip - it has scythed vast amounts of rendering time for me. It's a real time saver.

And, many thanks for the general contribution. I haven't got a great deal of spare time, and I really appreciate the info you put out on this forum.
