what is the best camcorder in use now
if a cx100 of sony is the one and for the camera which one is good not the best a medium one.

The CX100 is about the best mid-low range camera you'll find for skydiving, and it's exceptionally lightweight.

I don't know of any Canon you can get new for 300.00. Maybe someone else has input. X7's are around 500.00 used. x100 is too new for use, but you might find one.

you might buy a Powershot and get Laszlo to modify it for USB trigger (or do it yourself) and that would give you an entry-level camera. There simply isn't anything new in the price rante you're looking to hit that is "out of the box" ready to go.

If you go some shopping around on google, you can find the Sony CX100 for just under $400. I think I paid $380 for mine.

Thought that seemed low and went to Reseller Ratings.com and both had good reviews. Looked a little closer and still wonder some as they turn out to be the same company as the contact info for each is the same address in New Jersey..

I was about to order from BandH but I can get the camera and a SONY 8GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Mark 2 Media {MS-MT8G} for the same price. Anybody have any experience with them. Reseller ratings makes them look pretty good to buy from..
