AV right angle cable for PC1000 or any other camera. FYI.

Recommended Posts

I was looking for right angled cable for some time. Finally got it from 'extremerecall'. $50 not cheap but for me it is worth it.
I video 4 way and it was a hassle to take camera after every jump to dump video to VHS (camera is side mounted) 8 times a day.
Now I just attach cable to back of my helmet where I have 3.5 mm jack. Pics attached.
My understanding they can do variety of custom cables. I was surprised that no one at DZ.com used them.

Got 3 of those for about 10Euro on german ebay, althoug the right angle plug is a bit bulkier, and of course you would have to cut off the Audio plugs to have more room in the helmet.

I think he re ended the cable to take a standard sony jack. I like that idea A LOT. Will have to look into this. Although I can't seem to find information on the vendor your talking about.

edit: nm, found them... Dont see it on thier site but i bet they have it if I email em. (http://www.xtremerecall.com/

I asked them about the AV cables for the PC105...

Hi Matthew,

The right-hand 10pin is available now. We custom make them in-house, so
there is a fee above the normal price of the harness. Whichever harness you
choose, single or dual, we would add an additional $20. These are
pre-production so they are not the prettiest things, but they are fully
functional.

Single Cable Harness $44 (+ $20 for the 10pin)
Dual Mic Cable Harness $69 (+ $20 for the 10pin)
RCA to 10pin Adapter $45

Thank you for considering Xtreme Recall for you helmet cam needs; please let
me know if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,
Ari
