Yes, you're supposed to have the permission of the author before reproducing any work, for profit or non profit use. Does it happen? Yes, is it right? No. Would anyone really care? Probably not, but I'm sure there are some who do. I put my movies on skydivingmovies.com knowing that they are going to be downloaded there, possibly make it to some people's harddrives etc, but wouldn't want them floating around on other websites without my permission or acknowledgement of use<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist! I can see that point absolutely but going on that premises do you put music that is copyrighted on any video that you have made? Do you get permission or pay royalties? I see it as the same thing. There have been a number of discussions regarding this topic and if you going on this poit of view what is your opinion on the other I noted…....
