Canon 24mm vs. 28mm still lense

I've got the camera body, but I'm trying to decide on the lense. I've read all the specs, but I'm looking for some real life experience to help me decide if the 24mm is worth the extra dough. (It's about a $140 difference on B&H).

If you're just starting out in camera flying, the 28mm is probably going to be a better choice. It let's you be just slightly farther back and still have things not look quite so much like ants.

Wider than 28mm and you may have to be -really- close to your subjects.

I agree with Q... for an all around lens, the 28 is a better choice.

Ditto. With a .5 of some type on your video the 28 is a good match framing-wise.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the advice from those in the know. I'm definitely going with the 28. B&H even has a couple used ones for a pretty reasonable price.
