propblast 0 #1 March 8, 2003 Whats an Altimaster V look like. I looked in the gear section for a pic. Does it even exist? -ePropblast
skybytch 259 #2 March 8, 2003 The Alti V was discontinued a few years ago. It had a bigger face than the Alti 3, was a bit taller and had a plastic case that cracked VERY easily. If you took good care of it, it made a good entry level alti. New they were around US$100. Today, I wouldn't pay more than US$30 or so for an Alti V in good condition. betzilla 56 #4 March 8, 2003 If you're looking for a cheap, indestructible altimeter, try the Robynk Sapphire. Not the coolest one for sure, but they can take a serious beating and still tell you when to pull.

skybytch 259 #6 March 8, 2003 Quotehow much is the neptune going for? It's not available yet... probably around May 1st. As far as I know the price hasn't been officially set yet, but you can expect it to be close to US$300.
