darkwing 4 #2 February 18, 2003 relax. To drop your knees I think you have to work at it. Relaxing will result in them blowing back. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
curtismelaniej 0 #3 February 18, 2003 If you can swing it, go to the wind tunnel and get some one-on-one coaching. Trust me, it will be money well-spent!! __________________________________________________________ http://www.skydiveelsinore.com/teams/EXCEL/basic_camp.html
Albatross 0 #4 February 18, 2003 Both are great answers. In the begining you might wast to try to make a few jumps with a more experienced jumper and just work on the body position and getting a new feel for having you head up and and your legs out. If you can get to the tunnel DO it!!Chris

Albatross 0 #6 February 18, 2003 NO rummors. I have it straight from Melanie and Diane that the tunnel will be up and running in September. Airspeed is already booking tunnel time for an Airspeed camp.Chris

btucker 0 #8 February 19, 2003 One of lads I just did tunnel time - flew just like that. The Airspeed coaches diagnosed this as a lack of flexibility particularly in the hip flexors. You can stretch those by placing one foot infront of the other and leaning forward. It's easy to forget that skydiving is a sport - especially if you as unfit as I am!! When ever you dirt dive (as much as it will hurt) on the creepers punch out that nice arch. Hope this helps, Blues Benno. tunnel time rocks! You lucky dogs... keskeie 0 #9 February 19, 2003 And you should come to the ground breaking party for the Perris tunnel in March....I'm hoping that they'll be giving out door prizes of tunnel time.
