Murphy Flake exit

Does it matter if the Tail is holding on to the OC's legs instead of the IC's legs while launching a Murphy Flake?

The Golden Knights show the Tail-IC launch, and Airspeed shows the Tail-OC launch.

nope. but the tail-IC launch is easier -- the other way is hard on the OC if the timing isn't perfect (Airspeed, of course has that down fairly good:)

I know you said it was harder but, if we were to launch the Tail-OC exit, on the second time around, is it legal for the Tail to take grips on the IC instead of the original OC?

(did it make sense?)

yup, he can take grips on either one (but then you start to get into the whole piece partner debate, and whether or not it makes sense and all that stuff)

The tail can be holding onto either the OC or IC during a Murphyflake exit. The tail's piece partner is usually exiting from IC so it is most frequently a shorter transition to the second point if the tail already has a grip on their piece partner in the first point.

The exit flies just as well either way.

har har har...easy for you to say! :P Of course, the best exits I do always happen to be at a skills camp, so it must be the vibes.

we have the tail (me) gripping the IC for the C(rappy) exit for the reason that Dan stated. It flies OK, but I'm still working on timing it just right. That's one of those that takes a lot of practice, I think. Though it's not as hard for me as that stupid $@#@!$#@! cattacord....
