imsparticus 0 #1 April 10, 2009 Hi all was just wondering if anyone had retrimmed a stiletto a little steeper maybe even as steep as the katana would this give it a longer recovery arc and make it a little more swoop friendly for those that have to much time and patience on there hands to be bothered buggering around with the lines? AggieDave 6 #2 April 10, 2009 I knew a guy that custom built a few linesets for a Stiletto he had laying around. He was able to get a longer recovery arc, but the openings were horribly hard and very unpredictable. He later H-modded the Stiletto and put the a spec lineset on it. He liked it much better than the modified lineset. For him, it was simply an exercise in "what if." He was building the linesets himself and did the H-mod himself, so it was only costing him his time (he was using spools of Spectre he already had and spare ZP he had laying around. Then again, entering the world of "canopy test pilot" can dramatically increase your reserve ride numbers. The short answer would be to buy a Katana if you want a Katana. If you want something that's between a Katana and a Stiletto, try to get your hands on a Vengence.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
