Rdutch 0 #3 January 20, 2003 Just wondering, if you are already on the Advanced qualified list, do you still have to attend the qualifier in Atlanta, to compete in the Panama city event? Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!
proswoopingtour 0 #4 January 20, 2003 Canopy pilots listed on the Advanced or Pro Series list are qualified to compete in PST competitions. No additional qualification is necessary. SlatonAirSports.com CanopyPiloting.com
SkymonkeyONE 3 #5 January 21, 2003 The way I read it, Ray, is since you are on the "advanced" list already, you are cleared to compete in those "advanced" competitions they have listed without paying for the qualification. To compete in the Pro events you will have to pass that new qualification. Chuck

proswoopingtour 0 #7 January 23, 2003 If a pilot is already on the ADVANCED list they are already cleared to compete in ADVANCED series of competitions. If a pilot is not on the ADVANCED list they must attend one of the sanctioned qualifiers to get on the list. Pilots that are on the PRO list are cleared to compete in the "PRO SERIES". Pilots maintain their PRO status by staying current and collecting performance points at events throughout each season. The requirements for entry into the PRO from the ADVANCED series is outlined in section 2.1-2.6 of the PST "GG&F" (General rules, Guidlines & Format) manual and available by request from the PST. The official web site of the pro tour (www.proswoopingtour.com) is currently under construction and is scheduled to be brought on line by January 30, 2003. This site will outline the "GG&F", as well as, qualified pilots lists, schedule, PST magazine online, special events, training, tour records and more. For more information please contact our staff. Thanks "Skymonkey" for helping us keep things clear! SlatonAirSports.com CanopyPiloting.com
