NWFlyer 2 #1 August 12, 2013 I'm a regular user of the "Jump to Forum" button but not of the "Thread Options." Twice today I've accidentally hovered over the Thread Options (as I'm moving my mouse to click "Jump to Forum") and accidentally Watched a thread. Any way to put these farther apart?"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Meso 38 #2 August 13, 2013 What I will do, which will help it a bit - is that I'll switch the next and the previous around so the next is at the top and easier to click on.
NWFlyer 2 #3 August 13, 2013 MesoWhat I will do, which will help it a bit - is that I'll switch the next and the previous around so the next is at the top and easier to click on. Hmm... not sure how that helps my issue, since it seems I end up pulling down the menu accidentally and clicking "watch thread" (which is definitely not what I want to do!). My problem is the menu coming up at all when I'm moving the pointer towards the "Jump to Forum" button."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Meso 38 #4 August 13, 2013 Ah alright, gotcha. The drop down at the bottom of the page, I'll move that thread option buttons at the bottom to the left to make navigation easier without the dropdown being initiated.

skymama 35 #6 August 14, 2013 I just got used to that button and now I hate it on the left! Seemed like it was easier to have both buttons in the same area, less wrist movements one has to do that way. Meso 38 #7 August 14, 2013 I never used the jump to forum function so I never noticed the way the thread options drop down impacted it. But trying to use it for testing I definitely found it annoying that the Thread Options drop down would be initiated every time I moved the mouse to that jump to forum button. I will think about the best ways to implement it, if there are better alternatives.
oldwomanc6 38 #8 August 16, 2013 I hate to say it, but now it's dropping down when I'm anywhere near the quote or reply button. It seems to me, it's not the proximity, it's the drop-down that's the problem.lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB
Meso 38 #9 August 16, 2013 We're going to be changing it a little bit very shortly so that it doesn't become an issue when hovering, by turning it into an 'on click' menu as opposed to a hover.

Andy9o8 0 #11 August 23, 2013 I don't do well with change. I keep reaching my mouse/finger for Thread Options. I'm beginning to feel cognitively dissonant. My cortisol levels are increasing, a clear indication of mounting stress. I feel the website is mocking me, me personally. It won't stop. But I can't quit this. I think I need counseling. skymama 35 #12 October 4, 2013 Can we go back to having just one click to go to the next thread instead of two? I miss the old days.
