Ricx 0 #1 October 13, 2008 Hey, Has anyone had any experience with free flying in the Zurich wind tunnel when they put the AIRPIPE on it? They have pictures of people sit flying in the tunnel but I can't tell if they are flying little people or not! good enough to sit fly in?? Anyone? piisfish 135 #2 October 13, 2008 depends on how slow you can fly. very instructive to fly there. I wouldn't call it "freeflying" as in skydiving, I'd rather call it Bodyflying, as in being better with all your body attitudes.scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
tunnelfly 0 #3 October 13, 2008 If your wingloading is accurate, it isn't as easy to sit like in a high speed tunnel (like Bedford, recirc SV's,...), but it is possible. It helps if your FF suit is not too tight. Give it a try, it's still better then sitting at the dropzone and looking at a cloudy sky...
