decompresion 2 #1 August 8, 2007 I am a skydiver(a crappy one to be sure) and I did ten minutes in the tunnel a while ago... Three of my non-skydiving friends want to try it out and we will probably all drive up together to SkyventureNH. The question is... 1) Should we buy a half hour and split it up between the four of us? 2) How long should a first timer do in the first sitting? 3) Should we maybe find a couple more people and split an hour? or maybe two half hours with a break in the middle? Basically, I have no idea how to structure the tunnel time. thanksThere are no dangerous dives Only dangerous divers
diablopilot 2 #2 August 9, 2007 First, line up some coaching, the tunnel staff is probably more than capable/willing to help. Second, 4 of you should buy an hour. 15 minutes is a great amout to fly and is easily doable, Fly 2.5min intervals. Third, have fun.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
djd 0 #3 August 9, 2007 i would agree with the hr between 4 remember the more time the cheaper it is... also may be a good idea to call the tunnel to check as some places charge more for first timers than return customers or skydivers. i know we don't charge extra but limit the number of students a skydiver can bring per Hr. Have fun.... more addicts on the way....
Reginald 0 #4 August 10, 2007 With the group you're talking about I'd suggest two half hour sessions with at least an hour break between them. It will be more productive and fun than an hour at one time. Just my opinion though."We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. We're surrounded. That simplifies things." CP
