Is this new storm gonna mess up my tunnel time??

I am going as part of a large group to the tunnell in Orlando this weekend and was wondering if the impending weather should have an effect on our plans.

I understand if the power goes out but I mean if there is just "bad" weather.

Anyone have any idea??

SVO is FPL's $$$$$$$ cash cow. It is usually one of the first things up and running. Call the tunnel and double check their policy or procedures just to be safe.

If the power goes out, they do their best to restore power and get it up and running.

If it's raining, get your ass in the tunnel. They'll run the tunnel unless it gets too painful for you to be in and then you can get out.

Oh...and a side note...gray jumpsuits go see through in rain. (And no...I'm not the one that learned that lesson. )

White_falcon, if it's raining in the tunnel, put trash bags in your jumpsuit. That will help to keep you warmer and dry.

hey thanks guys.

I am supposed to go w/ a whole group and was told that if the outside weather gets bad they close the tunnell cause that affects the tunnel air.


I KNOW if the power goes out its a done deal. lol

Hopefully we can get'er done.

I was in the tunnel as hurricane charie approached. The power was not reliable, so they kept us flying near the grate. Eventually the power went out and a thunderstorm came in so that was the end of it.
