davidlayne 5 #1 October 8, 2009 Apologies if this has been posted before but I found this interesting blog. http://bayourenaissanceman.blogspot....survivors.htmlI don't care how many skydives you've got, until you stepped into complete darkness at 800' wearing 95 lbs of equipment and 42 lbs of parachute, son you are still a leg! robskydiv 0 #4 October 9, 2009 Wendy, thanks for posting that clip. Holy BASE jump Batman! He slammed into that cliff and got up like nothing had happened. btw Would you all do me a favor? Please post your most memorable jump or jumps during a skydiving event in the General skydiving discussions under "Most memorable Jumps." Thankyou. You've all been in the sport so long and have so much to offer us newbies. Everytime I read threads in the Skydiving History /Trivia forum it makes me wonder, what would it have been like if I had started jumping in 1981 (age 16, if allowed) or 1983 @ the age of 18. What type of canopy would I have used? How much would the staticline method have cost? I would have jumped in either Ohio or Indiana, because I grew up in Cincinnati. Anyway, I really enjoy reading your posts in this forum. Sincerely, Harry Robinson
