Geoff Peggs Memorial Boogie (Kansas Boogie)

Recommended Posts

The time has come again to come out and support the Geoff Peggs boogie. Every year we host a memorial boogie to raise money for his scholarship fund that helps aviation students pay for flight time.

Come out to the KSU Parachute Club aka Skydive K-State (Wamego KS) on June 8th - 10th to enjoy the company of great people and eat great food.

-$15 registration to go to scholarship fund. Registration includes dinner Friday, all meals Saturday and evening beverages and entertainment as well as breakfast and lunch Sunday
-3 FAST 182 wide bodies $17 to 10K
-T-shirts sales profits will also benefit Geoff's fund.
-Free camping as always

If you're in the area and want to support a good cause come on out, just off I-70 exit 328 to Wamego then at McDonalds in Wamego turn right and go 2 miles to Airport Road.

**Special guest appearance by the Midwest Freefly Legend Jimmy Coiner. Don't miss the legend.**

From Emma Nading, Club President...I think President, oh well...

"We will be kicking off the boogie Friday, June 8th in the afternoon around 3pm.

- Jumping Saturday will start at 800am

- registration fee will be $15 dollars (remember, this goes towards a good cause!!)

- Registration includes dinner Friday and all meals Saturday (Sunday we eat leftovers)

- All booze is BYOB, so bring lots! (not tequila, Justin will bring more then enough)

- Extra plane (widebody 182) will show up around 1030 on Saturday and stay until Sunday night.

- T-Shirts will be sold for $10 dollars (also put towards the scholarship)

- You can camp for free, as always... and if you're sneaky may even be able to steal a couch in the hanger. (sleeping on water bottles is allowed, but looked down upon)

- Jimmy the legend will be there, doing a little bit of freefly organizing (when requested)

- Students may only jump on Saturday if they are on 45s delays and can pack for themselves. Any student can jump on Friday and Sunday."

"You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
