MattM 0 #1 December 4, 2006 I have a job opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA - what DZs are close to that area? I hate jumping in the cold, so how long is the jumping season there? Matt

Skydive Ricks is a big accuracy DZ with some 182's and Top Fun I understand is a single 182 DZ. At about an hour and a half to an hour 45 you'll get close to Aerohio which is the closest Otter/Caravan DZ to you there. Season is usually a late March - October thing. Maybe some winter stuff out of airports but a lof of DZ's in the area have grass strips. Grass strips means in the winter it has to be frozen or dry, other wise the planes sink in the mud.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
